1984 Toyota 4Runner Dual Battery Setup

I decided to upgrade to a dual battery setup for a winch in the future
THINGS TO CONSIDER!!
-isolator voltage drop of .5-.8 volts causing undercharge of batteries.
- i had two batteries of different ages and voltages, if you get two new optimas (yellow and red) you will not have any adverse charging issues such as mine and Your batteries will also last longer. Make sure the battery that is going to take the most voltage loss is the reserve battery or the battery not hooked to the sense wire, as optimas like to be charged slowely to high voltage.

Hey Larry, I really like your work. But take my 2 ct's worth of advice. Keep those wires isolated, somewhat bundled so no chaffing could accure, away from ignition component's blah blah. I know it's a work in progress, but s#$t happens REALLY quick when a wire shorts, fused or not. Exellent work!!!!
