  • On Board Shower System utilizing the Radiator Automatic Transmission cooling lines as the heat exchanger. Used windshield wiper tank as a small tank to hold the hot water and cycle it.
    Parts:
    Surflow 2.8gpm pump
    (2) Garden hoses 15ft
    10ft Vynle tubing 3/8 ID
    (2) 3/4 in x 1/2 in Brass MIP x FIP Hex bushing
    (2) Garden Hose Y splitters, Brass
    A switch to turn on the pump
    Shower Head, Brass
    (2) 3/4 in x 3/4 in Brass Barb x MGH adapter
    Brass garden hose valve
    (2) Garden hose quick dissconnects, Brass
    (2) 3/8 ID brass Hose Barb slicer
    3/4 in x 1/2 in MIP x FGH adapter, brass
    PARTS LATER ADDED (not in video)
    (2) 3/4 in brass garden hose caps
    Panel Temperature meter -30 to +70 degrees C
    Small Coverage Bubbler (soaker ball)

    isnt coolant poisonous?

      +Bubba Rainman the water never touches the coolant. those lines are sealed from the rest of the radiator, and were ment to cool down AT fluid.

      it gets as hot as the radiator as long as i let it cycle a few minutes. i found out that the tank only supplies enough water to fill the hose so at some point i will put a larger tank somewhere, but thats just hot water, so if you mix it you get more time. Brass doesnt really oxidize and it takes hot temperatures better (honestly no real reason why)
