Ey up camper 😊 today's lunchtime watch. Loved this one, as always I've watched it before not sure I've left a comment though 🤔. I have a question, but will ask you later 😉. Anyway it came to me whilst I was watching and giggling at you (not at you, but you just make me laugh same sence of humor I think) you should put a vid together at some point of all your funny bits taken from your camps 🏕. Maybe that would be alot of work, but when you re-watch them make a record of them and if you ever get some spare time 😂 I hear you ... "what the heck is that!" You could put a vid together. Now that may require a spare pair of knickers 😂😂😂 Did I just say that 😆. XX

Lovely Sarah, I do the same, I make videos for myself. I'm 72 and still hiking and wild camping. Videos & photos are for me when I can't do it anymore and for my kids to look back on when I'm gone. I've got hard drives of my life and adventures for each of them. Keep doing what you're doing. X

Wonderful camp video as ever Sarah. There's nothing to touch a solo camp away from the everyday madness, the only downside that they have to end. Best wishes on the house improvements, I don't envy you there, and hope you get out soon again. Keep safe and keep the mind healthy, everything else depends on it. ATB George

This place on the moor looks awesome! came to this vid after seeing Patrick Dickinson's walk and camp vid around this area. I like an open water or wild swim, but need a bit of neoprene around me! you're mad getting in the icy water! All the best!

I found it Sarah doing exactly what you said 😆 You know anyway as you confirmed it 🤣 just got to find it in person now 🤭. Todays lunchtime watch, think this may be the third time now 🤣🤣🤣 I absolutely have to be your number 1 fan (I wonder if you have any analytical proof?) Looking forward to pitching Darcy this weekend she also has some new jewellery. Some colourful magnets along with some extra long pegs that to be on the safe side will be needing a slight modification 😉. My fascination with Kinder has to be the challenge my new fear is that based on our last experience we will get up there and lose the most expensive thing we take up. 🤣🤣🤣 The children have since said the're surprised we haven't lost them up there yet and 🙈 I think they are genuinely worried as they are never keen going up, but they do incredibly well, once up there all you get is can we go down now 🙄 and on the way down they don't stop talking and tell us how much they've enjoyed their day 🤣🤣🤣 it's so funny. XX

Really enjoyed this one Sarah, also along with others I've watch the last couple of evenings. You were right in what you said about watching videos on certain topics, it's not always about where they go, or what they do, it is sometimes nice just to listen to a person, as I do watching your videos. You talk about things in normal every day life and I relate to that more than just your little adventure out in the wilds camping. Thank you for being, just you.

Just back from a weeks site camping in the lake District.on my day hikes i,ve noticed more solo female wild campers on the trail.its great to see as i have 2 girls and i know that when they watch your video's they gain a bit more in confidence for life in general.one came camping with me and had a good tent plus her kiddywhiz.cheers for your hard work Sarah.

Hi Sarah, Been looking out for a new video from you. It was Pat who put me on to you and I've watched and enjoyed all of your videos. I just knew you were a nurse and I can only imagine all the joys and stress involved in being a midwife (I've been at three births..my children). Anyway, thanks for making these videos, as it is clear you enjoy just getting away from the stress of life, and you certainly bring a lovely warm, calming hour or so's viewing for so many of us. At 29:25 you mentioned comments and concerns you get about camping alone. As an older woman who has heard it all before, I am loving seeing you (and other TH-cam women) just getting on with claiming your place outside. On a hill. In a tent. Normalising nature and being authentic. Thanks for sharing your videos.

Not just for your children Sarah! When you're older, sitting in your lovely warm house with your husband - or on your own - on stormy nights, you will look back on your video diary with lots of happy thoughts (and probably a few tears). They certainly bring the odd tear to my eye when they make me think back to the many happy years I've had in the hills with friends. loved ones and parents who have now passed on. Lots of love ❤

Hi Sarah. New subscriber here. You have a very reassuring presence. Highly unlikely, but if i was ever in labour, I'd feel like i was in safe hands with you at the business end 🫣😂 My xmid arrived yesterday and I'm keen as mustard to get out in it with the little fella in the top left, but, like you, work and home improvements are taking much of my time currently. Thanks for the advice on the corners. I do something similar with my Helm. Re: the pegs. Alpkit does a red peg, but the end is on a thread. Thanks again, atb, Paul

Solo camping is much more fun for multiple day trips. The occasional group trip is awesome too but not always, someone can still go with the wrong vibe for the trip and ruin it for some.

Hi Sarah and good to see you back out wild camping and at that great little spot several of us love, I have thoughts of a camp up there soon, its got everything you want. I,am suprised not many other people have camped and filled the log in, perhaps because it is hidden, all the better for us that know about it. Hopefully when your house is finished it will give you more time to get out, mind you something else will crop up, speaking from experience I still struggle to get time out, all the best for now......thanks Pat

Good to see you out again. Your videos are always so calming. Life must be pretty stressful doing up a whole house- I'm having enough troubles with just a kitchen! I started my channel to make a record of our adventures for the time when we can't get out anymore - hopefully that's not any time soon though as you say, you never know. And - definitely breakfast, dinner, tea here in the Forest of Dean, unless you're posh of course. 😀

Hi Sarah, great video and just subbed to your channel. Am i right thinking that's the XMID 1P SOLID ? How do you find it for space within the bathtub - obvs there's the benefit of having 2 vestibules but i like things to hand at night without fannying about unzipping and zipping mesh back up. TIA.

Hey Sarah, I’ve got myself a durson xmid 2 so I’ve got a bit more room when i go out with my dog Lola - interesting that you’ve had the same issue with the peg guy pulling - and a good fix, ta - I’m also the owner of a soulo, and i think its unfair to compare the two 😂 I’m looking at a retirement move to the Sheffield area - any suggestions for reasonable areas in the outskirts of the city on the peak side ?
