Just to add some context people….I didn’t film much walking up to the Kinder scout plateau because it’s hard work, lots of steps and I like to walk with trekking poles and only have 2 hands 😂I enjoy the work out and not so much the talking aswell…stopped at a prime spot about half way up the mountain to start filming. I was then faffing about taking pictures and knocked my boiled water over and swore very badly, cut that out for TH-cam viewing but I was a massive potty mouth, hence the laughing when drinking my coffee at Sealstones…I made it back, 15 mins late for my daughter and our date together was lovely, she’s awesome. Sometimes we can go up to Kinder Scout accepting the fact it is going to be challenging weather, and are surprised how lovely it is between the dark, windy, wet moments. The enjoyable part of that is, most people will not have bothered to go for a hike on those days, and you get Kinder mostly to yourself. Another enjoyable video Sarah! Keep em coming!

I was cocky 20 years ago. Went in a bog right up to the armpits. Only the star jump pattern, and my quick thinking brother saved my life lol i wanted a pic but ne wasnt having none of it. Learned a lot since then. Even found the aztec stone thanks to someone realy helpfull who im getting to like, and realy enjoy watching
Nice video Sarah showing us the peat bog on the top. If you ever come wildcamping down to Dartmoor the bog is even bigger and deeper and in some places you can feel the whole surface moving under your weight. You certainly wouldn’t want to break through it! Looking forward to seeing your ‘soulo’ camp up there. ATVB Sidestickflyer 😎

Hi Sarah. I’m coming up to stay with my son and family in Dore over Christmas so I’m planning to bring all my walking kit and visit Kinder from Edale up Jacob’s Ladder to escape the mayhem. As an ex-military pilot I’d really like to try get to the B29 Bomber crash site on Bleaklow to pay my respects! 😢 Sidestickflyer

Ey up camper 😊 today's lunchtime watch. Loved this one, as always I've watched it before not sure I've left a comment though 🤔. I have a question, but will ask you later 😉. Anyway it came to me whilst I was watching and giggling at you (not at you, but you just make me laugh same sence of humor I think) you should put a vid together at some point of all your funny bits taken from your camps 🏕. Maybe that would be alot of work, but when you re-watch them make a record of them and if you ever get some spare time 😂 I hear you ... "what the heck is that!" You could put a vid together. Now that may require a spare pair of knickers 😂😂😂 Did I just say that 😆. XX

Now just got out of my bivi and back indoors, you'll know what I mean by that. Delighted to find a video from you. So we missed out on the cardio bit. My most laughed at comment in my walking club is "first one to fall over is a Nancy". I didn't even get the word Nancy out before my bum hit the deck. I'll never live that down. Bet Patrick will recognise that rock that you spoke about camping next to. Recognised the pic of your feet. Look forward to your next adventure. Cheers Graham

I actually find I have more reason to get out in these darker days, I have had some nice bright days and when I’m out it definitely helps me make the most of my time. Sometimes I do force myself to go for a walk or run and it’s completely normal to talk yourself out of it but I never regret it. Hope you get out soon, BW, Sarah
You're not the first to spill you're brew water, and you won't be the last Sarah. At least you didn't pour Trangia fuel in your kettle like I did once, whilst having a not so senior moment. Lost a load of fuel and most of my drinking water. Luckily it was only an afternoon out with Jackie and Tom down Padley Gorge, on a nice afternoon, so it wasn't so bad. Did you do your camp there yet?
Nope not been able to get out recently due to ‘life’. Although I did have a walk today to the s grey log book 📕 😊ps be a bit pished drinking Bioethenol from the trangia 😂

Hi Paul, the zig zag path up Ringing Rodger from Edale car park, good climb, takes about an hr for me fastish walking, hence the ‘cardio’ 😊 you can go up Rimging Rodger, walk the edge and back down Javobs ladder for a nice 9 mile ish circular, BW, Sarah
I’ve done a few camps in the peaks I live down near Oxford so it’s about 2.30 hrs drive would be up for doing a camp with you if you fancied it sometime.
