  • Today I took a walk up onto the Moorland, found a sheltered spot for a cuppa, pitched my tent and talked about the winter kit that I take on wild camps. I’m making a list to add to this description, I’ll add links too …to be continued 😊 Thanks!
    All the best,
    Sarah

This video was uploading all shift. Finally walked out of work around 8pm last night and BOOM! It processed. Seems TH-cam had been having issues yesterday with loading information. I’ll happily sit with a cuppa and read your comments, reply as usual, nice down time for me…not had to delete any unsavoury ones as yet so we are onto a winner! Thanks everyone, this was an unrehearsed kit out the bag and let’s talk about what I love video. I’ve not really bought anything that I’ve never liked because I scrutinise the reviews and research products within an inch of their life before I buy them as it’s some hard earned cash that! I simply can’t afford to buy twice. I’ve been so pleased with the performance and what the kit has helped me to achieve whether than be hiking a long way to camp, staying dry, warm or fed. No amount of gear can keep you as comfortable and safe as your intuition, knowledge and skills.

Hi Sarah, Lou and I watched this tonight and we really enjoyed hearing you talking about your gear. 🏕️ 🍳 The good thing about gear is it’s always evolving so fun in the chase. Nice to get something you really like that you know is fit for purpose and is a keeper. Atb Gav

You love your camping places so much, it's obvious. Live with your places by taking pictures of them, printing them and framing them. Then hang them up in your home. It's a beautiful way to stay connected with your passion. Cheers, Stan

Update,,,,, just spoken to Rab,,,they say it is perfectly normal for all down jackets to shed a few feathers in the first year,,,, weird that one ,,, Dave

I've used a Naturehike Cloud Peak 2 over a hundred times. I always use a groundsheet protector. Whilst it's not as high quality, the protector is looking quite worn, the tent looks like new. I'd definitely recommend using a protector. A lot of TH-camrs might not, but most change their tent every few weeks.

What a great way for me to finish off a busy week, watching the “Happy Smiling Sarah B” out and about with Hillary. Love the video, thanks for posting it. It can definitely be said that the Midwife has delivered once again 🙂. You take care and keep up the great videos xx

  • @PaulandSadie

I had to laugh at the comments when you said how much your tent cost 😂, but for you Sarah I think thats £850 well spent! She brings you so much joy does Hillery. S x

Great kit video, most entertaining I've seen. At over 60 wanting to go for a pee at night is a regular thing lol. Most practical tool for ladies. Good you brought the subject up! As for trolls, they are just sad! Delete them and think of them no more!

  • @sallyohalloran6650

Nice to see all your kit Sarah. It takes a lot of saving up to get there doesn't it? 😬 Look forward to seeing what you collect for your summer gear.

  • @Hikingjoe383

    Fantastic videos great channel

  • @AndyWragg

Can't beat spending the night and having a roll around on ole' Big Agnes 🤣, got the Regular Wide Rapide SL myself and the Trekology pillow too. Comfy AF. I find my Atmos 65 (the blokes version of your bag) is probably the comfiest pack I've ever worn. You really don't feel the weight, and I too pack for comfort. I used to travel light and freeze at night in my younger days, but no more. I need comfort. I need to do another kit load out video, but too busy right now. Have I used the comfy word too often?
