Night shift is really tricky to fit in with your normal life. When I first started work I did a night shift. I used to do four ten hour shifts then finish on Saturday morning at 7am. I didnt go to bed that day, just chilled in the morning. Night clubbing on Saturday was great, it was my time and my mates were all flagging but I was in my element. Id go back to bed as normal after and it reset my clock until the next shift pattern. Another great video, no idea how you manage to make so many!

Absolutely, I was kinda craving it today especially when it had stopped hammering down with 🌧️ the sun was shining through my window and glittering through the trees. It called me out 😍
I had to smile when you said “ It’s a bit black over Bill’s mothers” my oldest niece lives in Sheffield and when I speak to her on the phone I always ask her what the weather is like, and 9 times out of 10 she will say “It’s a bit black over Bill’s mothers” the other 1 time out of ten she says “ It’s reet good” she’s Lincolnshire born and bred like me, buts she’s picked up the Yorkshire lingo over the past few years 🙂. Occasionally I pop up and see her, the only problem with that is, once I get that far north I get this overwhelming desire to put gravy on my chips 😉. Great views, in a gentle breeze 😅. Be careful trying to camp on Stanage, being so popular it gets patrolled by the parkies. Besides there's far too many folks up there for me. But if you go mid week you'll probably get away with it. How do you manage to walk in your Rab? I'd boil in mine as I run quite warm when I'm active. Don't ever change Sarah. Yes just a gentle breeze that one Andy 👌🏻 that’s one reason I haven’t yet camped there or Bamford Edge for that matter. I would be midweek and off the beaten track from the masses. There was the dude with the table and that was it 😂 Debbie and work kept people home. I generally sweat like a pig when I’m active but that walk was very small and steady and I was snug with very good ventilation thanks to DEBS 😂 thank you Andy, I am Me 🥰BW, Sarah

Yesterday I was pretty done in and needed to sleep after the nights but then a full 8 hr Kip sorted me out but felt groggy. Storm Debbie definitely sorted me out 😂we have to make the most of our free time wether that’s for movement or rest, today it’s kinda been both. A lovely day all in all, BW, Sarah
@SoloSarahBX Agreed 😁 my shift work as I called it was been a milkman, and watching the sunrise in the mornings whilst out on my round was always awesome esspecially around rural Lymm. Most mornings ide dash home, quick coffee wash and change and be either the peak district or north Wales by 9am 😁 But it always caught up with me, and I would need a full day's sleep sometimes ( mostly when the weather where rubbish 🤣 ).. I miss them times now working indoors Mon-Fri. Buy it pays the bills and buys me née hiking/camping gear and when I do head out it's a joy 😁😁😁😁👍 Takecare Sarah,. Enjoy your videos 👍😁

Hey thanks for that Mike 🤩 nature hands me the cards and I bow down with upmost respect. Shelter in rocks to film or cut my walk short. I’m enjoying the whole package from researching camp spots and how to keep safe, hiking to, pitching up, learning about myself and my limits to packing up (ok, I never like that bit) to caring for my kit and finally making a short film about everything that I saw. There's an ancient Rath with the farmstead a few feet beyond that grousebutt on the near horizon. I like to sit at the entrance to the roundhouse on the lintel which still protrudes from the ground. I imagine ancestral connections & feel good sitting there taking in the view. The grousebutt might actually be a gamekeepers watch post. Pre right to roam days.
Ha ha! I’m almost not Yorkshire living in the Derbyshire boarder but it’s in me quite clearly 😅 I’ve noticed more looking back at my video footage when I’m in edit mode. Feels lovely to just be me 👌🏻

I was driving my Luton Tail Lift van with one of my fitters in and around Sheffield yesterday in Storm Debbie and felt the full force of the wind in it all day! All I kept thinking was, what would it be like to be hiking or wild camping in Peak District today! Now I know lol, thanks for sharing!

The seats come out easily in the back and its instantly a van/campervan. I'm 6 foot and I can kip in it easy. Its also shifted a sofa from a house in Nether Edge. They look stupid and they rattle a bit (like a lot of french cars) but they are brilliant. An (ex) mate said to me once...Jim you used to be cool and drive cool cars...now you have a pope-mobile. They just didnt get it. I'm on my second Berlingo and ill get another when it dies. @@SoloSarahBX

@@johnkucak the notifications help! I think as a smaller channel it’s easier to keep track of comments and I do enjoy reading them and replying. Pat Dickinson always replies to comments if they are respectful and I take my inspiration from him. Takes time but it’s important to me for the community aspect on TH-cam 👍🏻 have a great time either way your son, many of the folk here don’t camp and that’s ok 🙌🏻
