I love the tent, it looks a lot more roomy than my Lanshan 1 so I'll be looking at that one. Thanks Sarah 😊
Hey 👋🏻 thank you for watching a few of my videos. My Durston Xmid 1 person trekking pole tent is an excellent build quality and light weight for all season use. I have seen and heard great things about the Lanshan but never seen one in person so can’t comment on the size comparison but the Xmid is huge. Ample size inside for me. ATB, Sarah

How beautiful was this camp! Sometimes it's the things we do at the last minute that turn out to be some of the best. We found this camp quite entertaining with the added singing and martial arts to fight off the midges 🤣 keeping things real and being yourself is massively important in a world where our children are exposed to so much false-ness through social media (really pleased my daughter sits and watches you with us). We are really getting used to seeing you in Diana now, it has taken a few videos to get used to seeing you in a different tent. Really enjoyed this one, the views you captured looked amazing and they would for sure have been magnificent off camera as they always do. Thankyou for taking us with you, and as always take care and see you on the next one 😊 xx

Very simple things are truly the most beautiful 🤩…regarding the net, I have one 😅 but it’s packed away in my camping box that I can’t get to because there’s a flat pack kitchen in the way…definitely going to get to it before my next outing ☺️
Hi Sara, been a while since I watched and commented, but good to see you are doing so well! I had a measure of that 'pre camp anxiety' on my last one, it soon fades away once you are out there in the gorgeousness of the Peak District. That sunrise, oh my days what a spectacle you were treated to!

Hiya Pat, it’s certainly becoming one of my favourite spots this. Bonfire night camp overlooking the city was awesome and your burning car incident ha ha! Luckily it wasn’t on the same night, some Strange going’s on up there with it being accessible on the Roman road. Made for a good video though didn’t it? Midges…a wild campers worst enemy! What a wonderful sunrise that was and the colours were popping beautifully! I bet it was even better in person. Midges! Nothing worse than getting settled for a sunrise or sunset and that cloud of midges appear. Liked your method to repel them though! “Cha cha cha chop chop…” They’re horrible things. Worth it though to see that sunrise! All the best. Good to see you back out.

Great video Sarah, Watched most of your videos now, and love your passion for the area and for getting out camping. I live in north of Scotland, and never been to the Peak District before. However, my campervan is spending two days in for repair in Barnsley in a couple of weeks time, and I intend to spend the night camping somewhere. If you were to recommend a great spot with not too far a walk in, where would it be? Your 'Simply Perfect Wild Camp video at Birchen Edge caught my eye, but is there anything better? Cheers
Hey 👋🏻 how big is your tent? All the places I camp are small pitches for my 1 person tent such as Diana Durston or Hillary Hilleberg Soulo. I mostly pitch so I have a vantage point and can see a good view this video’s pitch is one of my favourites for a city view albeit very far away I’m about 6-7 miles away from Sheffield on this but only half a mile from civilisation. The spot between Higgor Tor and Over Owler Tor can’t be beaten and in my opinion very underrated with a beautiful view of the great ridge in the far distance, guaranteed to be on your own but the pitch is small and not very flat. The pitch overlooking the quarry just down from Surpise view is beautiful but stay away at the weekend or you may be joined by others. If you want a hike and remoteness head to the Derwent Vally up by Bull Stones or Crow stones. If it’s not too windy the Birchen Edge campsite is simply perfect, if it’s windy drop down to explore Gardoms edge under the bur h trees. If you want a beautiful easy access walk and pitch try the Froggatt edge pitch where I made my safety checks video. It was also where I made Diana’s maiden voyage video. So many places to choose…you could explore Kinder Scout if you fancy a climb too! ATB Sarah ✨💜✨

Hi Sarah, Seems like a long time again. Thanks to Insta we know what you've been up to and that you've been a busy bunny 🐰. I wonder if anyone has done a wild camp video on Iona?😂 Maybe a bivvy on the balcony 🤔. Didn't notice you suffering from many midges in the evening, but they got you in the morning. Even PM has been bitten 😀. Sounds like you are a fellow sunset-aholic, be careful it's very addictive and there's no known cure. Baby poo 💩 huh, in my family packs of grated parmesan is known as babysick, I'm sure you will get it. I wonder what happens if you mix the two. I challenge you to try it on the next video. You are bound to be familiar with Where's Wally, in your videos it seems some of us play Where's Whizz 😄🤣, I got pulled up by another viewer last time. As for midges some people don't like DEET, I've found a video that reckons cinnamon and vanilla do the trick, I'll leave the link in the usual place. Cheers Graham

Looks stunning, what an adventure… thanks for watching this one, our holiday was definitely needed and very much enjoyed by all of us, I couldn’t wait to get out camping in the Heather as I can see that purple blanket from my home, what a treat that is. Great video Sara as always. Do you get any ticks on you?😊
Thank you for watching 🤩 I’ve never had a tick (touch wood 🪵) I wear leggings and hole for the best 😅
Hi Sarah, I enjoyed that. Can I ask what you use to film your trips ?
@@callummacinnes3677 hey 👋🏻 it’s just my iPhone 12 at the moment and a wireless microphone that is compatible with iPhone from Amazon, cheap gimbal type selfie stick£25 and a tripod £15 Amazon. I do have ambition to take the filming up a gear as I enjoy it, certainly when I have got less on my plate and can afford more energy for the editing side of things 😊
@@SoloSarahBX Thanks Sarah Atb
😂😀😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Sarah,
Seems like a long time again.
Cheers
Graham
