Vex win because there's no biomass for the Tyranids to consume, and the Vex have the numbers. As much as I love 40k, Destiny takes the win here.

There is nothing in the wh40k universes that can keep up with that. 50 Viltrumites would just zoom zoom around a planet and fly through every single marine, tyranid, tau etc til the fight is done. People saying that it’s cut and dry for the vex are probably right, but one thing to note is that the radiolaria wouldn’t automatically convert the ‘nids. It would likely be a similar situation to what is happening right now in Echoes, where the vex are losing a civil war against a rebelling internal faction. Additionally, the Tyranids shadow in the warp is likely paracausal in nature, thus not something the vex could account for. Would it actually hurt the vex, who don’t have psykers or anything of there sort? Probably not. While it wouldn’t be a 100% clean sweep for the vex, I do think they would win. Namely, because they’re like the Tyranids if the tyranids knew your every move before you were even a thought in your mother’s womb, with the only exception being the Light and Dark specifically (as those were not part of their original pattern on which their simulations are built) and other similar forces not part of “easily” calculable existence. Oh and also… the only vex combat force we’ve ever seen is the wyvern. Every other vex we’ve ever encountered has been the vex equivalent of a *farmer, worker, or the like*, with Wyverns being low-ranking foot soldiers.

I think halos flood and the forerunners could possibly hold out pretyy well. The forunner tech was up thier with golden age of mankind at minimum also the reapers from mass effect were never truly scaled but if they could resist vashtors corruption they could be another force.

The way you describe the witness makes me think of the dark king from 40k

have to disagree on kratos. kratos thing is godlike physical strength, if he wrestled with the emperor, kratos would eventually overpower the emperor. HOWEVER, the emperor is a psyker. so the second he decided to kill kratos he would immediately be annihalated from the titanic volume of raw magical power being directed at his soul. the only reason horus wounded the emperor is because the emperor held back.

What’s funny to me is Dr. Gero from dragon ball Z would absolutely be praised as a messiah. I mean he’s an android so he’s already got the tech priest on his side and has created way more powerful stuff than anything the imperium has. Just imagine a Space Marine Legion with the DNA specs of Orks, Eldar, and other species. Not only that but he has the resources from millions of planets to create entire armies of androids capable of wiping out almost anything. He has trillions of humans he can experiment on and turn into either bio androids or full androids not to mention he knows the blueprints to create infinite energy. Literally the second coming of the Emperor 😂 Dragon ball characters are seriously broken.

Good video, but i do think you missed one thing. The events of Curse of Osiris. Despite not being able to understand Paracausality, Panoptes figured out a way to completely destroy the Light AND the Darkness. Now of course the Young Wolf and Osiris were able to stop Panoptes from doing anything with this information, but the fact remains that Vex simulation is so powerful it allows them to do shit they shouldn't be able to do. The Vex are fundamentally incapable of understanding anything Paracausal, they are as a whole weaker than the likes of the Hive Gods, the Traveler, and the Witness. And yet, they figured out a way to win anyway. If Vex simulation can do something like this, I'm willing to bet they could figure out a way around Tyranid evolution. Also, the Vex don't simply run simulations. When they encounter a problem they can't solve by throwing trash mobs at it, they build a Vex Mind designed specifically to solve that problem and that problem alone. Curse of Osiris proves the Vex can solve problems they logically shouldn't be able to solve.

Final comment to be continued, but I do have one tiny nitpick. Cabal have a few other, more powerful infantry weapons. Their *new* Gauss weapons, like the shotgun and gatling (for the colossus) can also be compared similarly to the bolter. At least in that they both produce rounds with immense power. IIRC the Tau have gauss weapons right?

Destiny is one of those universes that is seriously underestimated with just how absurdly OP it really is.

I'd love to see you're take on Warframes in 40k. Personally, I think a fully optimized and modded Oberon Prime could more than likely take on most of Nurgles domain, and a whole squad could probably take on Nurgle himself. Just have tell them you get a cool weapon drop from him. The Warframe lore goes pretty insane sometimes, even even more so than 40k sometimes. I'd recommend looking at frames like Limbo, Oberon, Gauss, Titania, Atlas, Octavia and Excalibur.

The main trouble with the Vex isn’t just the time shenanigans, but their simulations. Vex simulations are so accurate that it’s basically impossible to tell the difference between them and reality. And within these simulations, the vex control EVERYTHING. Any potential form a Tyranid can take, the vex can, will, and most likely already have simulated and know how to fight. Sure, Warp powers will slow them down, but the Vex literally have all the time in the world.

Remember that the vex we currently face are scouting units. If thr main vex forces woke up, WE'D ALL BE DEAD

The only thing that can vex the Vex is paracausality which the tyranids dont and cant evolve to have, so they lost the minute they end up in the same universe as the Vex because the Vex will simulate anything and everything even if its not a threat to them until ALL is Vex. If the Vex fuse with the Tyranid its not because both deem it to be useful union, its because the Vex allowed it and ultimately the flesh of the tyranid is also wholly Vex. In other words, the tyranid no longer exist, there is only Vex.

Here’s my issue with this argument. You are taking the vex as a whole when in actuality they are all part of different collectives (factions) with each focusing on its own thing. The Sol Divisive for example follow the witness and its final shape and are generally avoided by other vex collectives. The Conductor’s vex which are evolving to the conductors wishes are at odds with the other vex factions and are thus being at war with one another. They might cross paths and have similar goals but they are not unified per se

Didn’t even mention the disciples of the Witness like Nezarek who is so OP that just looking at him will cause you to experience true undistilled fear and will allow him to manifest himself in your mind. Or Rhulk who shattered twin suns single-handedly after single-handedly wiping out the population of an entire planet. Callus is the weakest of these and he literally had a ship that ate planets and was able to create dozens of giant mutant psychic clones in order to wear the crown of sorrows. Then you have stuff like the tormentors which are described by as beings of infinite nothingness made manifest. They can block psychic powers and the light and the more you harm them the more powerful they get. Then with the cabal you have the aforementioned Leviathan which consumes planets and ships like the Almighty which destroy suns. Then you have Gaul who was able to contain and harness the power of the light who would probably end up being able to exploit the Warp and use it against the emperor and the physikers. Edit: oh, and of course now the Traveler and the Veil are linked meaning the Traveler may have the ability to literally turn thought into reality and create anything it wants. I don’t know if this is confirmed yet but it’s worth mentioning. Great video as always 👍🏻

I would like to see the Tyranids try to invade a solar system of planets under the protection of multiple ACUs from Supreme Commander or a Planetary Annihilation commander. The manpower and logistists needed to commit against that kind of intense defenses would be so great entire large Hivefleets numbering in the millions of Hiveships would be needed to overcome such a power. And that takes a lot of time and resources to mobilize so they can keep up. But by then so much bioforms which would be vaporized lost it would not be worth it. Losses in the high hundreds of quadrillions at the very least against the largest of titans the size of states. For another fun idea imagine what it would be like if the Tyranid hivemind encountered a machine called Getter Emperor. They should run away from it if they knew what it does and what it eventually becomes overtime to instinctually scare even them. Before it consumes them by accident.

I think we gotta stop putting machines against tyranids lol. Put them against something that isn't machine. Thought tbf Tyranids excel at fighting anything organic so there really isnt a middle ground

If the Vex could potentially simulate the Tyranids in a simulation they can create several Axis Minds to counter them similar to Saint-14 when they created *Agioktis, Martyr Mind* to disable his light and kill him. and even then we haven't even seen the combat unit Vex besides the Wyverns they'll be facing workers

Oh look another person forgetting about the fact quria blade transformed exists. there by disproving the “fact” that the vex can’t simulate peracausality because they very much CAN simulate peracausality.

The Tyranids can be millions, trillions or whatever you want all unique and yet they all will be simulated and adapted the same, every pattern, every adaptation they can come up with has already been foreseen by the Vex because they simply are not outside the rules of the universe, all they do is "natural" evolution speed up by 11. At that moment the whole thing comes down to whether the Vex decide to deploy their ontological weapons (the ones that can wipe you from the timeline without the vault of glass) or the actual soldier units.

While I'm not a cyberpunk fan myself, from what I'm aware the spinoff videogame is a pretty poor representation of not just Adam Smasher but the setting as a whole and they're significantly more impressive. They'd still lose hard as a setting but they would probably not be nearly as easy a stomp.

Everyone in the comments mentioning the Vex’s capabilities to simulate their enemies and assimilate other lifeforms, but everyone forgets that the Vex also have access to the Vex net which is a pocket sub-dimension that the Vex can move into from the real world.

All it takes is a single tyrannid to touch radiolaria and its all over for them.

In short ignoring the armed forces and going to gods that can suck entire worlds into other dimensions and have on physical form to harm whilst they turn you into walking tumours, birds, piles of goo, statues and whatnot the answer is none… no single being could hope to do it. Even infinity gauntlet style when there are multiple dimensions etc, it’s not going to be a fight, it’s going to be a side show for the chaos gods to watch… I’m also pretty sure that tzeench already won once and reversed time so he could do it again in the lore, right along side khornes sword that will end reality if ever used.

fyi the word bearers loved the emperor and always have done, they see him as a god but he denied it (so sent G man to destroy their major city), so they found other gods who wanted their devotion. they are the ones that mostly know the truth of everything. one Word bearer even created the current worship of the emperor and the divinitatus (which started the whole religion) was originally Lorgar's work on how great the emperor was.
