Titus running from the Yao Guai was literally me when I go straight to Nick Valentine and look for Kellogg with a pistol and 2 stim packs
Titus was a fucking knight in power armor and didn't even utter AD VICTORIUM when he made the vertibird he was on land specificallyto shoot something, he shouldn't have been a knight at all.

It’s a show that is faithful to both the SPIRIT (story and tone) and LETTER (canon, and props) of the law of Fallout.

100% agree how what makes the show great isnt how it looks but how it feels.
Not only that, the story, which was very very good, felt like such a fallout main story. It feels like they could have made a fallout game around the plot of the show. The writers and directors REALLY got the essence of fallout. At the end of the last episode, once the full plot and the twists are revealed and connected I legit said "fuck me, thats such a fallout story".
People who don’t like it are either just looking for reasons to hate it, or are self righteous New Vegas fans who misunderstood the story.
Or haven't gotten past the first episode like the top review on Google lol

Love the show; it's not perfect but is quite excellent.
People really forget in a “RPG game” the player decides what is canon themselves and it’s up for interpretation for every player, fallout is a RPG... 💀

judging by the trailers I didn't think I would enjoy the show but to my surprise I absolutely loved watching it, so glad especially after finishing S2 of Halo....

I don’t hate them hate them but it’s a lot like Minecraft to me. I don’t think they’re anything special when it comes to RPGs, especially the more modern games. But once a year or so I get the urge to play Fallout for hours on end just messing around with the sandbox.

Imo what leads to the being such a good adaptation is that it wasn't trying to adapt fallout, but contrubute to it. Same wasteland, same world. A good comparison is Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk edgerunners.

It has not retconned anything. The only affect it’s had is in the canonization of Fallout 4s BOS ending.

I've gotta watch this show man, it looks really cool.
I've only played fallout 4 and a little of New Vegas (before getting stuck) but i love the fallout aesthetic and my friend has said the show is really good.
glad to see you can advocate for it too and that it can be enjoyed without full knowledge of the games.
also it cannot be understated, you are criminally underrated and need more viewership, the production quality and strength of the video topics are so high im so impressed.

And yes the show isn’t a must watch, I don’t know if I’d give it that. But if you like black comedy, fallout, goofy stories that don’t take themselves too seriously or all of the above. It probably is a must watch, haven’t watched something this funny and somehow heartbreaking in awhile.
I would compare it to the Boys. But it’s a lot more optimistic and colorful than that show.
