I didn't hear anyone thinking it would be a gun...it's pretty obvious...but it definitely have a g1 movie style looking robot mode...with less tank bits noticeable.

Oh I knew it from the start this wasn't gonna be the tank Megatron. To expect that would be the definition of insanity. It just feels like no matter how you look at it, the compromise needed for regulation purposes just would mean it could NEVER be the most accurate 1986 movie take on Megatron. They could pull off black magic and make it so his robot mode looks one to one with that Sunbow Movie sheet, but outside potential fanmodes, it just was never meant to be.

I mean we should expect him to get a gun mode of himself as an accessory. But people are overly hating when you know it’ll at least be a new mold from the Siege one

If anything, they should at least include a Megatron in his gun-mode that fits in the hands of any '86 Transformer. It cannot transform, it's just tiny gun.

I love how silly MP1 was. Mine fell off a shelf and now one of his legs collapses under its own weight in robot mode (the way it's meant to for transformation). There was a weird charm hearing the voice and knowing they'd got a rando to read out Cullen's lines for no real reason.

I'm pretty sure studio series is marketed towards adults?????
