3:35 Someone NEEDS to do PROPER 3rd party renditions of the War Within Seekers, as I absolutely love the designs, especially how Figueroa gave each of them individuality beyond just color scheme (especially in reinterpreting the sticker detail on the G1 toys as actual 3-dimensional details (like Starscream having 3-tube missile launchers in each shoulder air intake))...also my ONLY criticism of the Cybertron/Galaxy Force Starscream design is that there are only 2 missile tubes in each shoulder air intake when there should be 3, as it is an homage to the stickers on the original G1 Starscream toy...if that alone were changed, the design would be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT (just like how Maketoys Galaxy Meteor looks awesome and if it just had its armguards the other way around (per the show's CGI model) as well as butterfly and rocker joints in the shoulders like Planet X Kadmos (Planet X's take on IDW Star Saber) it would basically be perfect, given that with those two extra joint types it could fully use its swords/null rays in dynamic poses)...

The Megatron was really rough, but his hiss tank mode was great, i think they have been getting progressively better. The alt modes have always been good but its the bot modes i think have been getting better as we go. Now waiting on the optimus w/general hawk to get officially announced.

Kup is kind of perfect for a GI Joe crossover figure, this one definitely seems like the best one so far. I think Ironhide would also be a good pick, too.I'm just surprised there's no Hound yet.

I know that the rolling thunder is often thought of as an Optimus alt mode, and the "rocket base" theme matches up with Omega Supreme, but honestly I think the Rolling Thunder would work with this set best as an Ultra Magnus. He's big but he's not a cityformer

I feel that people dumped on the other GI Joe crossovers in a way that they never deserved. For what these toys are, and the intention of the design, the GI Joe / Transformers crossovers have all been fantastic.

At the end of the day, as long as the toy puts a smile on your face then nothing else matters. It's awesome you enjoy these so much! Thinking of picking up a Soundwave myself.

This line keeps getting better and better. Here's to hoping that it continues on!

I've enjoyed these as they've come out, and I totally agree with your reads on these. They definitely started as the Original Joe vehicles, and they figured out how to put the Transformers into them, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, as it ensures the accuracy to those molds. they did do much more to make Kup feel more solid than previous entries, as the Megatron, while nice, due to his transformation style, he feels a little hollow. Bumblebee suffers a bit from Kibble Management issues, but getting anything out of the A.W.E. Striker was an accomplishment. I don't want to sound like I'm ragging on the line so far, as they have been fun, and like you, I'm looking forward to what's next, though I know they won't go mad and give us a Haslabs collaborative Broadside/U.S.S. Flagg, mostly because I don't think Hasbro will go for the 7 ft beast of a carrier mode 🤣
