Rat trap is the first one who called optimus optimal as BIG BOT..........then followed by Cheetor....
I truly feel some of these deleted scenes would give the characters weight, i dont care if itll be "too long" as long its pivotal to the movie. Unless they cut them out to put them in the home release to get others to buy it so they can see more.

if they keep doing this kind of shits there is no reason to go theater anymore, cus what you get from there will be a lesser version with weird sudden personality change what the hell....
The different Primal transformation in the film gave me a big old grin cos it included his waist spin. Would have been cool if he had walked his lower half around like in the OG cartoon but I saw it as a bit of a nod. Also, the final Optimus Prime transformation you show is so good. Like a jazzed up version of the classic Prime transformation.

While I agree that the changes that prevented the too dark moments such as the downer ending and using Airazor's spark as a bomb were for the better, the cuts I feel were for the worse, the Maximals definitely needed more screentime, Elena and Airazor's little bonding moment would've been cute, Arcee and Wheeljack would've been really cool to see as an at least implied couple and the Transit scene, while I agree was dark and implied carelessness from Prime by leaving the bodies just there, it would've made Optimus' sour demeanor much easier to accept, what we have in the film also works, but it could've been better.
And man, we could've had Cheetor say Big Bot, that one hurts :(
Had those things been left there, I could've easily given it a full extra point in my score.
And while it's just fan theorizing, imagine if before being put down, Airazor said something like "my body will soon decay...but maybe my spark can live on in him" and pointed at Bee's body, they could've had Wheeljack use his science skills to transplant her spark and that could've been what revived Bumblebee, maybe it still would've needed the Energon pulse, but it would've neatly tied Maximals and Autobots AND it would've made the Beast Mode Bumblebee toy that has an eagle on the chest be an important nod to their shared heart.

God I would LOVE if this was in the film. If they don’t add him into the film (not only a deleted scene, I mean included) they better bring him back in the next film!! My rahkshi boi needs some love!

Dude this is amazing! Well done and great research. I also wondered where a few of those scenes were when the movie finished. Especially the “Let them come” line. I did hear from another early screening that the line was actually in their viewing, but it was “Let him come” referring to Unicron.
As for that last one, I 100% also thought the card was going to reveal Sector 7. I also wondered if the bot Noah fixed up at the end would me Smokescreen due to his colors, as sort of a new bot using Mirage’s parts.

Yeah, I was 100% convinced it was sector 7 trying to hire Noah until they show the business card. Talk about a twist.
Just my opinion, if they had a dark ending with Prime's fate unknown, it would be awesome to finally see an Ultra Magnus in live action form. He'll be the interim commander of the Autobots as he has complete faith that Prime is still alive and will eventually come back.
My main wish for the movie was to see unicorn transform into his robot mode, as his transformation in the 1986 movie is one of the best scenes in cinema
Maybe in a sequel!
They’re saving that transformation for a later movie. I’m glad they didn’t blow that wow-factor in this one.
@@TransDrummer1312 Yeah, true. Since we know Unicron is playing a Thanos-like role spanning three movies, with Rise of the Beasts being the first one. Not to mention Scourge name-dropped Primus during his first battle with Prime. It's all coming together.
Speaking of Primus, I bet the next movie will explore how Primus came to be & what kind of relationship he had with Unicron, thus setting up their climatic planetary conflict in the third one, with both their planet modes transforming into their iconic titanic godly robot modes.
I honestly wish they made the movie longer and added some of these scenes. I don't know much about movie budgets and runtime restrictions, but if this movie could have been even just 2hr 15m instead of 2hr 7m, then so be it! There are movies that are 3 hours long, so I feel like they could have added some of these deleted scenes to really help flesh out some of the characters. They better be available on the dvd release because I really want to see them!
I so would hope for an extended cut of the film that’s even a half hour or three hours. The two hours were too short and missed to many context scenes

I actually can't believe why they'd cut some of the best scenes, especially when they're referencing the most famous moments of past transformers series.

This explains a lot, there was more lore and character stuff made or atleast planned. And I thought Optimus would've been sucked in, it would've given Scourge's defeat more weight. The Bumblebee movie reference should've been in the movie to respect that reboot. Otherwise it was a good Transformers film. That Optimus smashing Scourge through the wall looked very cool, I really, really hope they beef up the Blu Ray release and just go a bit crazy with all the extra stuff. Hell do the director's cut and make that 3 hours instead of 2.3 hours. I will buy it, I will see it and I will enjoy it. Just fat up the Blu Ray release for the fans and also have the theatrical on it.
Yeah, fingers crossed some of these scenes are dropped as extras some day.

Obviously held off watching this until I'd seen the film and in the lead up to seeing it I've been avoiding trailers, TV Spots etc. etc. Is all the Rise of the Beasts footage in here from publically available videos? Because I feel you've got MOST of the beats of the movie in here! 😆
Ha yeah, all from trailers/ TV spots/ featurettes etc. All stuff that's been officially released in some form, although I did have to comb through it all fairly extensively! I could not believe some of the shots that were available.
I would have loved for Prime's turning into Nemesis (or even Scourge as the pre-release theory was going) at the end of the movie.
Also, I think it was a missed opportunity to use Apelinq instead of Tigatron. If the good ol' white cat was the sacrifice for the others to escape in the initial scene, they could have used his spark to try to save Airazor and/or use that to introduce Tigerhawk in a sequel 😢

I dont think it's "highly evident" that a lot of scenes were cut, it's not even a lot. I think it's just cause we KNEW already about certain scenes that ended up cut long before the movie came out that's making us think that way. when in reality, this happens to every film ever made
They deleted alot of these scenes to cut down on time but little do the Producers know, I go to Transformers Movies to have my time wasted and to see giant robots duke it out!

Loll also, it's not like people aren't willing to watch long movies these days. Look how long Avatar: The Way of Water is! But yeah, I wish they added some of these scenes in the final cut. They better be released on DVD!

How did Noah completely rebuild Mirage from his dead suit form into his full-sized and functional robot mode?
When the energon brought Bumblebee back to life, why wasn’t his ability to speak restored as well?
There were aspects of this movie that I liked, though I can’t really remember what they were because they’re overshadowed by the conflicting mix of reboot/tie-in and some poor writing and editing decisions. Also, I just couldn’t get on board with Prime’s characterization.

Thank the lord that sector seven and the spider face bay-con was left out. I think Prime being taken out could've left room to scrape the continuity back into bay territory which would've sucked. Likewise with mirage living it further distances itself the 07 film. All positives. Hopefully now that we had the comparisons to the human and prime protecting their families, we won't need the bother of human characters centered from here onward in the films.
I don’t mind the human characters when they’re well-written and likeable like in the last two films. I think with the end though, it’s unlikely we won’t get more human focus moving forward.

It’s less than 2 hours because of Age of Extinction And The Last Knight’s runtimes. I also blame this generation’s social media, such as TikTok, IG reels, and YT Shorts for allowing society to just accept things very quickly and noisy.
Tbf 2h is still a very long run time for a lot of films, with the average for most Hollywood output topping out at a little over 100 minutes. The average has also increased in the last 10-15 years, as typically it was a little less, so idk that it's a generational thing. I think in this case, you're probably right that it's a reaction to TLK etc though.

I've not heard that, unless you're referring to the repainted Ironhide art that was used for Battletrap toy packaging? There have been a couple of rumours about it but nothing substantial afaik.
@@SixoTF I´ve found the comment in youtube that said there was a cameo from Ironhide, but apparently it was fake, however, i wish they had used more autobots, even just a mention or a cameo, but considering there was a lot of cut footage it´s kinda sad.
i hope steven caple jr do the zack snyder on rotb and give us a extended version of the film i wanna see optimus with pablos glasses
