As impressive as the Transforming Grimlock was at TFNation, I actually really liked the Bumblebee, he's just as friendly as I remember from the cartoon and having Dan Gilvesean's voice was just the icing on the cake. Him always being able to stand himself back up after falling down due to the gyroscope is incredible. Maybe if I make enough at next year's show (after getting myself a Road Caesar)

Like dropped. That Bee is cool. Price puts me off mind as not a heavy collector surprisingly but if money was no object I'd defo have Bee and Prime on the shelf .. money and room!

have to imagine that at least a decent part of this Bee not transforming is due to not wanting to fork over the equivalent of a small nation's GDP to Volkswagen for likeness rights ^_^

Agreed. If Robosen can make Grimlock, it could have made Bumblebee. Granted, their Optimus needs to be taken back to the R&D.
Epic fail not to transform when there is already the K1. Lots of ppl will not buy so lower price but lower sales. Should’ve just made it 799 with transform

I think what could really improve these would be like a “deactivated” mode, as you showed, but with more rigidity, to encourage posing of the figure even when it’s not in use. Maybe throw in some blast effects and alternate face plates.

This is an insult. Doesn’t transform and the platsic looks cheap. This was developed for a quick buck.
Robosen creating Bumblebee but not a Scrapper like that awesome self-transforming one we saw a few years ago is niegghkkker! 😂
