This toy is pure sex! Never in a million years did I think we'd end up getting such a G2 comic accurate representation of Jhiaxus (especially after the slightly different portrayal of him we got in the IDW comics, where his proportions were a bit out of whack). Now, if only we could get a _proper_ comic accurate version of everyone's favourite Bond villain, sociopathic Autobot scientist, Flame. I absolutely love that overly gesticulating fruit-cake.
Still amazed by this toy today, mainly for all the things mentioned here. The sculpt design and colours just make him pop more than you'd think he would.
Jhiaxus's alt mode kinda reminds me of 2007 movie megatron, with the wings that are far at the back of the jet, with the "fin" in the rear middle of the jet
By the way, the gun is based on the one Optimus Prime uses in the G2 comics. The smaller one of the two is meant to fit in Laser Prime's hand-slit-finger dealies!
I liked how you took the scope attach to the gun and attach it on top of the plane mode. To me the arms placement in plane mode never bother me as I see it as a pernament base attach to the plane!

I just got my copy of Jhiaxus earlier this week and have been fiddling with him nonstop :D. he's right up thewre in sheer ease of play as Kingdom Huffer, which is another of my go to fiddlebots lately. And man, your photoshoot with Jhiaxus is, as always, purely brilliant. I gotta ask though, just how much time was spent playing around with him between poses? :D

Might have to try and get my paws on this guy at TFN. I was always happy on behalf of the true G2 warriors that he was finally here but he grew on me quite quickly and I’ve been meaning to get him for ages. Nothing renews my appreciation for a brilliant toy quite like your camera work

Aw thanks! And yeah, I slept on him initially but was won over by people repeatedly telling me how good he is. They were right.
I like putting my figures' arms slightly to the side in jet mode. It makes the sculpt a bit better, almost like an X wing.
