Jamie this is a very timely review. I was curious what the state of robot mowers were and this popped in my feed! Looking forward to the 2WD model review as well. Dreametech just launched their first robot mower. Are you planning on reviewing that? Would love to see a comparison vid! Edit: I'm also curious how these handle stone walkways!

Hi Jamie, I would like to check with you whether after emptying to the dock station, will there still have some dirt in the bin? Is this normal for all your dreame series, especially the L20?

Great review! Looking forward to the Yuka review (as I have Luba 1 and want to see if I should upgrade). For Luba 2, still trying to understand if the camera aide's movement and mapping. The reason I ask is that I have a decent number of trees that present a weak signal and constant dropping for Luba 1. How is the signal connectivity and does the camera aid in the robot's movement? Many times, with Luba 1 it loses signal and locks itself. It may sit there, drain its battery, and then I have to go recover it. Worried this still might be an issue. Thanks!

New subscriber here! I like your review style and throurough, unbiased information. My consern with all robot vacuums/ mop combinations is that they might damage hardwood floors. I have a 2500 sq foot home that is all hardwood except for tile in bathrooms. (wood plus some area rugs) Seems like the mop roller in the Mach s1 Pro wouldn't leave much water on the floor as spinning pads or flat pads. Is the floor pretty dry after it passes? No one ever mentions that in these robot reviews. Water is a hardwood floor's worst enemy.

Thank you for the work you do and glad to see that you are branching out into the yard robots as well. I have been considering one of these for several months. It is good to see one of these in operation from a channel that is not on the manufacturers website. I have several acres to mow so I would be focusing this one in the area where there are a lot of trees to circle around and leave the wide open areas for the Zero turn.

Great review! I was considering a mower upgrade but now this has me thinking I may give a robot mower a try. I think I'd keep my traditional walk behind mower as a backup or for bagging clippings. One feature I'd like to see with this is the ability to stripe the lawn.

Hi Jamie! Love your videos, IMHO the best comparisons, much better than vacuum wars. Will you compare the Revo with its successor MaxV soon? The Revo MaxV is now on the market and I’m on the fence whether I upgrade to it versus the regular Q Revo, main point for me is whether it mops deeper, and the extendable arm works well (unlike the Dreame L20 dancing issues). I don’t care about obstacle detection, I have no Kids and no pets with mostly open surfaces.

Now Dreametech is coming out with the X40, they are really coming out with new models quite fast. I'm not sure what it offers over the X30 but since I recently got the X30 I don't think I will look at the X40 for now. The X30 is a really good one though. One odd thing about it though, and I'm not sure if this is by design or a bug, I have it set to return to wash the mops every 10 minutes, in the mop only mode, when returning to the station to wash the mops, it turns on the vacuum motor at a low speed. I wouldn't think this would be necessary. Also, this robot along with several others still spin their side brush in the mop only mode. The only robot I have seen that doesn't do this is the Narwal Freo X Ultra. Again, I would think this is not necessary and will cause the side brush to wear out faster.

Love your videos especially the detailed temperature checks of the water cleaning and air drying. So disappointing that roborocks temperature figures are so wildly off. Can't wait to see a similar review of the Revo maxv

I do not have eufy s1 option in Australia at this point, could you tell me what is the best option for having best performance for both vaccum and mopping robot , if Eufy S1 I will wait until it comes here, but would love to know your thoughts on that as I am confused watching all of your reviews and others, thanks

Way too loud of a machine, doing anything really especially emptying the damn dust been.. shiit like damn jet taking off in the whole house. Then annoying pad washing BEFORE AND AFTER. TF you washing it before you been just sitting there after you washed it after the last job. 🤦🏻 Then come in the dam smell if you don't clean the docking station bord and a filter for a few days like sulfur rotten eggs. Always out the damn water too.. Gtf out of here ..

Is it worth the dust bin that comes with the q revo or the Q8 max will do just fine. Im trying to see if the dust bin is worth the price or not
