Great content. esp the tests showing power drawn, sound decibels etc...Unfortunately im seeing this after i have purchased ecovacs t30 pro omni (yeedi m12 pro).
Hello! I just found your channel, great content!! Is there a place where i can see you ranking of robot vacuums? I’ve been looking around for a while, but i couldnt find one. Which one is overall the best one you tried so far? Best regards, Johan
Thanks!. This is something I am working on, but I do not have it just yet. I always wait until right around the end of the year before revealing my best pick of the year.
@@jamie.andrews I would like to ask in this particular model if the disadvantages you noted for the Qrevo MaxV &S8 MaxV have been improved, avoiding obstacles, water temperatures during washing e.tc also if they have fixed the not good management of the side brush flexi arm that works whenever and however it wants as you pointed out for the S8 MaxV. thank you
@@talstaris Water temp has not been improved. Side brush has not been improved obstacle avoidance might have been slightly improved. Rocky voice assistant no longer responds to the TV. That is good.
How's the app working? Is the map sometimes getting distorted? (multiple lines in the map, navigation becomes impossible for the robot since the map is messed up ....and need to reload the map..) is the app same with Ecovacs? It looks like same like Ecovacs! LoL
It is the Ecovacs app for the most part. Mapping and dividing rooms is a big issue. I also don't like how the map is laid out. It only shows walls or what it thinks is walls.
Are Yeedi and Ecovacs the same company? I almost went with a Yeedi Cube last fall but was able to get the Roborock QRevo in the sale last October. @jamie.andrews It was your QRevo review that sold me on that model to replace my dead Neato Botvac Connected. 😊 My budget at the time was tight, hence the Yeedi Cube consideration. Even though I'm not in the market for a new robot vacuum/mop, I still really enjoy watching your reviews. One thing that surprise me was that I didn't think I wanted/needed a combo mop/vacuum, especially with auto emptying and washing the mop pads, but I really like those features. My home is 100% tile with an area rug in the living room and even though I have a great Shark steam mop with spinning pads, I really like not having to spend as much time mopping!
Yes they are the same company. QRevo is a great unit and I think most people will benefit from all of the features of the Q Revo over a robot with just a charging dock only. . The Qrevo was groundbreaking at the time because most robots that were full featured were well over 1k. Thanks for continuing to watch and the added support!

Hey, if you’re able/willing, this is a request for a video of the s8maxv vs the q revo master vs the q revo max v!

@@jamie.andrews wow first one I've seen that isn't shark. Hopefully some flagship models start offering them as standard
@@summalaude4614 Still loving my S7 Maxv Plus, it has a cyclone dock.

It’s the same exact robot from ecovacs
Yep minus the voice assistant.

This does not look good. I don't understand why big companies release high end products with obvious issues.
First!
