Man I wish I had found your video before today. I just started saddle hunting and today was my first time ever going up to 20’ up the tree. Coming down the tree was excruciating. It gave me thoughts of giving it up and just hunt from The ground or spend money I don’t have on a climber. But now I can’t wait to get up the tree using my saddle again after watching this. Thanks!

They are good heads but they also rust... so thats a no go anywhere in the west. The original g5's usually need sharpened but they are solid af and get the job done.

I shoot mechanical heads out of my crossbow only. Speed helps make up for the limitations of mechanical heads. I’m trying the Annihilator XL this season out of my crossbow. Should be an eye opening experience.

Had the same exact issue with my wise choice …. Worked in my hand but won’t fire under pressure , then pops off the bow at 3/4 let off . Was driving me crazy because the release doesn’t even have 30 shots through it . I sent it out , they sent me a new one and guess what …. 50 shots in it’s doing the same exact thing . Thought it was me but clearly it’s a common issue . Cool video I’ll have to try to do that

Thanks for the awesome and detailed explanation. Good shooting. Trying to sight in my tape. 3 pin Black Gold slider, 20, 30, 40 floater. Chrono said 279.5fps but want to do the calculation to get it dialed. Range 1 is going to be 20 Mark 0 and Range 2 will be 70+. Then caliper the distance for Mark 2. You use the same pin correct, 20 not the floater for the caliper distance? I was hitting 76 today but dialed to 80 and used my floater. Accurate at shorter ranges. Thanks in advance.

The rx7 ultra i shoot isnt real fast but it is super accurate at distance. I also have a mathews vertix and v3x33 great bows but i just shoot the hoyt better. Ill never get rid of the vertix though its killed alot lol. For me personally the mathews bows are easy to torque

Hatfished!! LOL....I agree with the sharpness of the originals. It's like you had to practice on when to stop sharpening or lose the sharpness. LOL ....When I bought the Montec's a few years ago, I was only going to put one on the one arrow I carry for hogs, while I'm deer hunting. But they fly true and though its only a 1 inch cut, it takes a plug out of the wound. I deer hunt with them as well now. Good video.

I think you should be a fat guy, to make a video about fat guys one sticking. Just joking. But you need to try the S.M.A.R.T. one stix method. I have a video on it called (One Sticking like a BOSS). It's simple just pushing your rope up ahead of you. (NO SLACK) This allows you to add a prussik and pulley for a redirect with mechanical advantage of 3-1. A superpower for fat guys. Awesome review. You really do a great job on these breakdowns. I'm still shooting my v3x. Just put a new set of super sexy gas strings on it. Really debating the lift and they have 6 of them at my dealer. Think I'll wait and see if I pull any tags. Keep up the good work bro.

I'm new to this SRT Saddle hunting scene myself. This upcoming year will be my first time. SRT is way lighter, efficient, and safer in my honest opinion compared to other methods. I use a collapsable cube for my throw line. Also use waxed throw line it slides better and is much easier to untagle here is one of my first videos I will make more eventually on it. Well you are inspiring me. The first time I seen the one stick method I can see the advantages of it. My hunting buddy thinks I'm crazy but I'm gonna give it a try at 285lbs. What brand is the actual one stick do you use?

I use the JX3 now and love it. I owned a couple others and the pinch points after all day and my knees killed me. JX3 is a Lazy Boy in a tree. My only problem with it is I have fallen asleep a few times in it. From dark to dark hunts are easy in it.

What up man super new, tryna chose a bow with long draw and ata. 6'1 im at a 31 draw, but my bow is 30 ata. Tryna navigate thru it all.

Are there any good reasons why bow manufacturers are not making stock bows over 70#? It is not like you need to be a bodybuilder to shoot 80# and historic war bows went to 130#. I'd love to see bows sending 675grn arrows at 320fps.

I like it! I have used everything, and I mean everything. For a long time I used a Badlands monster pack, which is the same concept as this (big fanny pack) and that was nice, but I wanted to downsize more so I kind of rigged up a cheap sling style pack from Amazon. I kind of do what you do anyway with the fanny pack and swing it around, so I thought it would be good. Appreciate your content my man, btw, what kind of tree is that you were demonstrating on? Is that what they call a monkey pod or something? I don't know, I saw them in Hawaii, but never knew for sure what they were.

I haven't tried the Lift yet but I have heard good things. I'm still shooting my Triax and it's been deadly accurate even with my 29.5" draw.
