Once again! Very relatable advice. I'm a first generation hunter with no family or friends who hunt, so I hunt alone. Getting used to being out there in the swamps after dark was and is still one of my biggest hurdles, and most people don't talk about that at all.
Some good info here folks. There are so many things to be aware of when leaving the blacktop. If u r new to bow hunting there are hundreds of great videos from getting a bow set up for YOU and proper arrows etc to seeing how hunters use the woods etc to their advantage. It’s a NEVER ENDING ADVENTURE!
Wow, oddly enough, this is exactly my story. As a brother from brooklyn, NY, the navy introduced me to so many different walks of life, and that's all she wrote. No mentor or anything. I stepped into a bow shop in Pensacola, got set up, and shot religiously for a year before I even stepped foot in the woods. Nice vid, bro. Peace!

We all like to act like we’re so tough and not afraid of anything. Good on you for pushing past your fears💪🏾
