It's not that a Helldiver is not in command of his/her own Super-Destroyer, its that it's joint ownership between all Helldivers on the ship, while the Democracy officer continues to take orders from the Helldiver on deck

we just got a major order to start building the space station. This may lead to the guild system and possible mission with 8 or 12 players. Hopefully those missions (if real) will include things like the siege mech and the worm

I wanna point out there are no brains in the automatons. Their casualties dont sustain it. What we are seeing I think is a Singularity based digitized psyche. Think Necron, or Total Annihilation Core forces, where every unit is the most elite pilot of that vehicle, copied dozens of times.

i dont think bile titans are like queens among the terminids , they are problably like.. the ones responsible for putin the eggs like you showed. they must be like an hive migratory tool to spread eggs in the planet , being that tall no predators could mess with them , or their eggs. making them perfect for this kinda of work. they could even work as a relay to the queen itself. i think the queen is yet to come and will be a boss like in helldivers 1.

From what I know, the Automatons are being built by the Cyborgs to fight us. I hope we'll get the Cyborgs at some point.

The siege mech looks similar to the Factory strider tbh in a way Am surprised there wasnt gunships im HD1 and ghe shield devastators being hulks was kinda neat

I think its worth pointing out that on the illegal broadcast screens, there is an Automaton enemy on the screen we have yet to see. I'm willing to assume its something like The Warlord, but its more agile looking.

I headcanon that the nursery/bile spewers are the end goal they were looking for. Maybe their spew becomes the E710 but it also juices up all the rest of the bugs too.

I can't help but compare the observer to the observer. I mean.. starcraft one. They have roughly same shape, both are detectors and are invisible. Only difference is starcraft observers for some reason are MASSIVE

I would say it’s more of “I saw the weakness of my flesh” and the borgs just wanted to commit full bot. The only things they seem to harvest are brains to turn into more bots and to make the bio-fuel they use to fuel their army.

Given how super earth had millions of planets to mine, they most likely do have millions of super destroyers. You need hundreds of thousands to take a given planet. If you think they don't have time, they have millions of wasteland planets, which are probably mines and factories.

i kinda doubt the automatons came from cyberstan, almost no chance actually. they have something related to the cyborgs indeed but remember the first days of war on hd2? the automatons armada came from out our galaxy system. cyberstan was not taken by them yet. the automatons collect humans body parts and put them in crates on their outposts on hd2 . there is so much mystery around automatons yet.

Cyborg at the end of the war started placing the human brain or consciousness inside a robot body instead of replacing the human body with robotic parts. This stopped the insanity when a person became 80% cyborg, for example their ripper docs were obsessed with wearing human skin. In helldivers 1 this process only seen on war machines but helldivers 2 it seems the Automations have perfected it and now do this to everyone, also technically they are not cyborg if nothing is left of the human so name change makes sense.

The troopers probably only get basic bodies and basic weapons because they're conscripts. They're led by commissars now after all.

The autocnnon is great for the bots. Its my go to. You can snipe, use it as a primary, take care of the walkers etc

The back of chargers and behemoths are not actually weak points and absorbs a majority of shots at it unless it’s explosive but it tends to still run around same with the sides of bile spewers
