In my interpretation of the game lore, it’s quite clear that ADA is using pioneers as a reverse human Von Neumann probe. Pioneers are cloned (which is why you have no recollection of anything) and sent to a planet until one of them completes the "save the day" project. This explains the numerous failed attempts, as indicated by the other drop-pod crash sites. There are numerous clues pointing to this throughout the game, but in the final phase, it becomes especially clear with the biological stuff you need to complete (to clone other pioneers). ADA, despite being an AI, awkwardly manipulates the pioneer’s motivation by mentioning things like saving kittens and puppies. Also, I interpret the Somersloop as a symbol of greedy consumption or modern consumerism-a kind of reminder or pun on the dollar symbol.
They aren’t crashed ships, they are freighters, they are the exact same freighter that we use in the hub to send resources to space. They weren’t piloted just as ours is not piloted by a person.
3:59 the crashed ships are piloted by themselves, they are the ship that lands in the hub, and, according to ADA, have a soul, which tracks with logic here: If it has eyes, it is sentient, the hub freighter has eyes though they turn if and point down when landed, so it is a little bit difficult to see them
@@DavidUtau given that I see him not using mass dismantle in the background footage, I’m assuming he hasn’t played for as long as I have, and I am trying to contribute what I can to his knowledge base to see if he can put together a more solid theory
Wasnt there also some lines about there is no hope for humanity but to collect alien artifacts or something? Something to note is that the ai at first doesnt even know what stuff you are hearing until it analyzes your mind when you hear it
I have a feeling that the reason that platform takes so little materials because FICSIT miscalculated the required materials and they realized when it was already too far to FICS(TM)

5:29 I’m unsure if these lines are in the full release, but Mercer spheres and somersloops used to trigger ADA to say something about a pandemic on earth, though this may no longer be what’s happening there Edit: 6:50 them looking for alien artifacts tracks with the voice line I referenced pre-edit
Hey, small thing, but I thought I'd let you know, you accidentally (or purposefully?) repeated a small section of the video around 8:00. It's not a big deal, and the rest of the video is great, I think these are some really interesting observations. I thought I should let you know though. Perhaps try listening through the whole video once right before posting?
The ADA AI that guides you during the early game sure is a chatterbox. But some of the things it says have disturbing implications. It mentions that you may have no memories of anything before planetfall. Why? The line about "saving puppies and kittens" is an obvious attempt at emotional manipulation... so obvious that another human being (over the age of 20, anyway) wouldn't even try it. ADA also likes to pretend that you're in charge... but who created Project Assembly? It sure wasn't the Pioneer! With a mask covering the Pioneer's face, it isn't clear how human the Pioneer really is. The Pioneer does drink coffee and needs a toilet, so that seems to suggest a human digestive system. Maybe the Pioneer is a modified human? Some kind of modified human clone grown mostly from human DNA? That would explain no memories. Also, whatever is creating Pioneer clones may not be very good at it... that could explain all the wreckage from failed Pioneers. The fate of Earth? Maybe humans invented AI, and Earth was taken over by it. Or maybe an alien AI came to Earth and grabbed some DNA samples. Regardless, the goal of Project Assembly seems obvious: Colonize the galaxy with warp-capable spaceships carrying copies of ADA. Which really only leaves one big mystery... Why bother cloning humans and sending them down the surface of planets? ADA could certainly build itself an army of robot bodies: robot aircraft, robot trucks, even human-shaped androids if human size and shape confers some kind of advantage. These robots would be far more adept and efficient at exploring, harvesting resources and building factories than the clearly imperfect and sometimes even haphazard Pioneers. Maybe this is an argument in favor of the "humans invented AI and it took over the Earth" theory. The humans who invented AI might have put something they thought was a failsafe in the core of the AI, in case of disaster. Something that required it to preserve the existence of humans, in addition to whatever else it did. Satisfactory might be a more utopian, interstellar scale version of The Matrix.
> Maybe the Pioneer is a modified human? Some kind of modified human clone grown mostly from human DNA? That would explain no memories. This would also explain how a live human being could end up at a star system so far away from Earth. (Though with the warp drive shown in the 1.0 ending cinematic, I guess we don't need to assume a greater-than-human-life travel time from Earth to a distant star.)

your comments add 0 to the discussion and are semi-spam, calm dude.

Interesting, so they are kind of like the machines in warhammer 40K. They all have a spirit in them
The reason that a spaceborne anchor connects is because of a really simple solution:
They sent the platform with the pioneers

bro i just wanted to say you’re so talented and you make really good content. im sure your channel will grow.
Thank you so much!! Glad you enjoyed!

Deploying parachute. Deploying backup parachute.

I cannot believe I have played this game for like 50 hours and never know that. Thank you so much for the time saver!!
Simple youre supposed to build cool looking and satisfying factories
but you don't load the fancy artifacts into the spaceship, the ship leaves without any resources

Just as a joke you should do a video on helldiver's 1 illuminates vs helldiver's 2 before the devs add them 😂🤣

What if Ada is an advanced rogue ai and it’s a grey goo + matrix kinda situation.
