Really good video and a level swing with that downward movement definitely creates the ‘Top Spin Heat’ who is probably the only way I’ve hit my Home Runs. We had a player with an extreme chop and he simply couldn’t hit a softball 🥎 over the fence, but he would pepper the fence with the line drives he hit.

I have not seen you swing so take this with a grain of salt but if you are hitting the neck of the bat when extending, I would guess you are set up a little too close to the plate. Absolutely you can! I use a 27 oz bad fairly often and definitely can still cut the ball. The weight of the bat is sort of arbitrary it's really more about how well you can move your particular bat. If you can keep control of a 30 ounce bat, you can cut swing with 30 Oz bat!

Before every swing he’s visualizing the results. You even hear it in his commentary…. “Gonna hit this one right at him” “This one’s going over the net” Ime that mind-muscle connection makes all the difference. If the mind can see it, the body will do it! Is this Mike Nino…or Babe Ruth calling his shots 😅
