- Will this bat truly survive? Cam and Jason (and special guest B Lin) put a ton of swings on a Proton Series 2. However, this isn't just any old bat. This particular bat has been traveling around the country to a bunch of different TH-camrs. Jon from Bat Flip BP started this journey in hopes of testing the limits of bat durability!

Glad you guys are making videos again!!!
We are happy to be back!
Seems like you guys have been putting in a lotta work. Swings look good
It's true! We didn't stop playing just had a bit of a hiatus from making videos. Swings are feeling pretty good!
The bat is amazing...does not make any sound. Must be fun to use. Do the Proton come with a specific technology?
More in general, will you guys address the topic of (good) timing for live batting? Would be good to get your expertise on that.
Glad you're back making videos!
I don't know all the details on Proton's Tech but I know they claim to use super high quality carbon fiber in their bats.
Timing can be a pretty broad subject. At it's most basic I would say timing your swing to make contact while you are balanced on your feet as well has have your chest pointed towards the direction of the ball flight creates the most consistency. Maybe we will tackle that subject in a future video. Thanks for watching!
Damn boys, those swings have really come along
Thanks for noticing! We may have been a bit inactive on TH-cam last year but we were still working on those swings off camera!
Gosh, seems like the Proton might have gotten a little payback torture on your hands! I forgot this thing even existed! HAHA!
Oh, it exists, and has taken some punishment!
Which model LS Slugger bat were you swinging briefly in this video?
We swung the APG3 as the comparison bat. Lots of different paint schemes for that one, but 26oz w/ .75 oz endload is the important part.
Is this a dual stamp bat? Do you guys have any advice on a good durable asa bat?
I play in ireland so playing in cold temp sometimes
This bat is USSSA stamped only. Depending on how cold, I've always had good luck with Monsta bats even though they are not recommended to swing when cold.
Combat dual stamp. Holds up to usssa balls in cold.
I was wondering whatever happened to this bat and the durability test. It's been a while.
IT LIVES!!!
I've got 5 to 600 hits on my one piece I do not get any feedback like you guys are getting. It's a smooth as butter but not the hot butter. 1 piece balanced.
Glad to hear you have really got it dialed in! We all normally use 2 piece bats so the feedback we are getting might be operator error.
No shot this passes mine failed in 50 cuts
Only one way to find out! Keep an eye out for videos from the other creators.
