Very excited for the Arnold now that they have made this change. Will I make the final? Absolutely not 🤣 but I'm pumped thst the show caliber just went up a notch (in theory)

Not pleased with my placing at OSG but happy with what I learned (one being my yoke is still horrible). The class was insane. But seeing that the Arnold is going to be like another osg is going to be nuts.

Really hope they have either a squat or the bale tote at the Arnold this year

It's a real shame that the Arnold's international qualifying series died, OSG has become almost the exclusive results-based avenue to get to the top making it a bit of a bottleneck.

After competing at my first OSG and coming 21st, I can say that the atmosphere there felt insane. Like even though it wasn't a "world title" show it felt like all us open guys were fighting for a world title. Like it feels like a new standard was set at this show.

Can't wait to see the Americans at work. I finally get to go to Ohio and see The Arnold! 🎉

World WWC has been epic so far, Ruslan Nurodinov just put 242kg overhead...more weight than anyone in SM at the moment @ 109kg BW, very impressive for any strength sport

It seems like everyone who does the wrecking ball hold says it is not really a pure grip event, because they can somewhat support the weight on their legs. It turns into a test of mental strength and pain tolerance as much as grip. Novikov certainly does not have the strongest grip in the world, but he smashed the world record in this event.

Burton was a new name to me when he came and slaughtered at the Magnusson Classic, much like Mr Hatton here did at the Arnold's UK. Always fun when that happens so I hope Burton does well. Sucks to hear that the open women's doesn't have the pull it should. 820lbs deadlift for reps in a 50 man show is the kinda decision I would've made after drinking a gallon of wine whilst watching Blood and Guts on repeat.
