James and I have LITERALLY talked about this at length. We still don’t know how the Men’s Open is gonna shake out. Also, love the roasting 😂😂. Hope to see you there Alec!
Burton was a new name to me when he came and slaughtered at the Magnusson Classic, much like Mr Hatton here did at the Arnold's UK. Always fun when that happens so I hope Burton does well. Sucks to hear that the open women's doesn't have the pull it should. 820lbs deadlift for reps in a 50 man show is the kinda decision I would've made after drinking a gallon of wine whilst watching Blood and Guts on repeat.
It seems like everyone who does the wrecking ball hold says it is not really a pure grip event, because they can somewhat support the weight on their legs. It turns into a test of mental strength and pain tolerance as much as grip. Novikov certainly does not have the strongest grip in the world, but he smashed the world record in this event.
Would've been interesting to see Jaco come back and do it again. Sad to hear Rayno pulled out. Happy to hear our Canadian boys will be kicking ass again. Can we set a new record and have 4 Canadians make the final at world's next year? XD
1 I appreciate the very small mention, got a lot of work to do. But 2… I think this show has 20 dudes that could be top 10. Mosted stacked osg in a while I believe.
Thanks for the analysis both. Does feel a little bit like remik is playing strongman on easy mode by doing OSG. Love him, but I can't see anyone beating him on the day. So experienced.

Ya if you let Lucas beat you on bag toss you got some work to do 😅
Alec getting Gabi, Inez and Lucas to the 2025 Arnold! Strength dungeon in da house!
Covered what I wanted in the first three minutes. Thanks fellas!

Rogue is basically the women's worlds now. Why would they go all out at worlds as it pays pebbles in comparison
COME ON YATES SQUEEEEEZE IT
@@bronchopednot only that, but it doesn't have nearly a fraction of the prestige that WSM has.
I support every comp prediction keep these up guys 👍
Love the part with the Maxime banter.
Looking forward to the boxing match between Maxime and way-too-much-hair guy
Good to know who to watch out for and really glad to hear Lucas has a big show to prep for 🎉

This set up is different than giants live. This is a true test of grip.
@@rpe11allthingsstrengthdo you mean they won’t be allowed to rest on the thighs like at giants?
@@cisrael468that is correct!

Kitchon is out. He's ok just needs time off after doing like 10 SCL comps. Great vid!

@@josephpayne5375 100% correct. It’s going to be a dog fight for every point
I could see Jeffers pulling 5 out of his ass on the deadlift. Seems to be staying healthy and hes looking STRONG rn.
Thanks for the analysis both.

I don't know if I agree with Open men at OSG being "easy mode". There are a lot of guys at WSM who wouldn't even podium OSG
Love it.
Great analysis.
Hope Oskar can have a good showing!
In no order, but Oskar, Bryce, Remmic, and Spurgeon in the top 4.. podium will be a fight through and through.
Roy wins the deadlift and makes the final! That’s my prediction
Hell yeah!
