Amazing comp. Maxime is back. And just when is Hatton going to be smashing that US log record? That 465 log FLEW up. Another 15 and we have a new record. What a shame you arent going to the giants live log lift chanpionships.
I 100% agree! It's just silly that some guys were loading the third and fourth stones more easily than the first. The shorter athletes really struggled with it, even though they had no problem with the weight of the stone.
feel like maxime should’ve gotten the down call on the first 445 log attempt. he stumbled, but showed a split second of control there before stumbling again.
I agree with you , on the log that 455 that wasn't given to maxime on the first attempt he was off balance then he held it then he went off balance, but it was a good lift cause he held it for a while, he should have been given that one, But on the 465 log, I can't tell if it was a good lift or not, cause he hid hold it but there was too much movement in his legs and his arms kept bending so personally ally I would've given him the 465, but would have given him the first attempt of 455 because that was a good lift
I had front row seats, max’s 465 was not a good lift but it would have been given to him by less strict officials (like the ones at gl and wsm) The dumbbell on day 2 he didn’t give max a rep that was perfectly locked out though. I was front row last year and for all 3 days this year and I’ve only disagreed with like half a dozen of his calls
I feel like it’s all based on how convincing the rep is, so if someone locks it out with ease he gives down , if they are wobbling they wait, seems fair
😮 how!!! 150kg is world record, is a lot 180kg 🤯 oh my lord، icant belive is that 🤔, 100kg. 150kg, 200kg، is 150kg is hard and a lot 120kg is good bat 166😮 rel strong, 200kg is impossible
Man, North America's Strongest Man is a joke compared to Europe's Strongest Man in terms of production value, prestige, and viewership. The US needs its own Giants Live-type organization and make a real spectacle of the event. These guys deserve it. There are many WSM competitors present.
Yeah but this sport it still relatively small, and is a slow growing sport, but it'll get there, just needs more time and if ourselves opportunities to spread the sport more mainstream, the community in this sport is the best community in any sport cause it's tight knit and supportive, but lower production comps are still great cause it's another comp, another comp for us fans to enjoy, it gives newer athlete a platform , it gives more experienced athletes, a nother comp on the résumé and it keeps them active also they could use this as a last heavy training session before a big comp to see where they are at like Hatton will soon be doing the Shaw classic
Lmao nasm is a much much harder competition than Europes strongest man. Strongman might have more total fans in North America than in the uk but they’re so spread out. 4 hours from Leeds you have the entire uk, 4 hours from any major city in North America you probably don’t even have another major city
He gave them a down call once they were locked out and in control, max has had this ref before he knew what the ref would look for and he did enough to get a down call fast I disagreed with 1 of log calls while watching in person (Colten sloans first no lift) but after watching the video I agree with it
@@WeTryMotorsports then you don’t know what to look for, he got the down call when he earned them, the rules were pretty clear that you needed to be locked out and in control
I have no doubt Lucas will break the log WR in the future, that 211kg looked so easy for you! Congrats to Mad Max
😂200kg is impossible no easy ❤
Max is back and looking hella strong.

@@shawnmichaud4484 let them know! I want that record
He 100% should be invited to the GL log lift world championship based on that 465. Looked like Big Z!
Thanks for the footage. This is a very tough show.
That 211 looked so easy. Only people I’ve seen push 200 plus that easily are biby and big z
Lucas is a Str8 DAWG!!! He’s coming for that WR. Solid work big guy💪🏾
I got a terrible sun burn, but is was well worth it. Great job on the log and dumbbell and thanks for the photo at the end 🙂
@@christopherp.8485 I’m pretty burnt too! Always a pleasure to compete in Victoriaville
thx lucas love from sweden

Legend thank you!
Awesome! What a lineup!
That log was stupid. Giants Live, please invite this man to the log lift championships.
I've been waiting
HOLY LUCAS - THAT 211 WAS INSANE.
Razy high standard of pressers here 🥇
Log world record incoming from Lucas Hatton that 465 was fast
The First Stone shouldn't be so high, make it heavier instead with this height some guys are gonna have to press it.

Tough judges huh? I like it
I thought the same. I can't stand it when Magnus keeps giving away easy reps when the athlete is still moving around. Brilliant reffing

Idk if anyone agrees with me but it seems that head ref is being a lot tougher on some people and super lenient on others

Yep.. being REAL QUICK with those lifts for old maxine.👌🏻 Other guys - having to hold for 3 seconds...atleast.
