All this does is measure the protrusion of the alveolar process of the maxilla relative to the frontal process of the maxilla, and also the size of the nose. This doesn't measure the projection of your maxilla whatsoever. In other words, this determines the harmony of your maxilla, and how evenly it projects - not how much it projects.

Surgeon recommends double jaw surgery with genioglossus advancement. I'm in my late 30s and debating this surgery since I was a teenager. I'm afraid it's going to have to be Hale (or equivalent) for me. I used extra-strength Breathe Rights and my wife said all it did was make it sound like I wasn't hitting a choke point and just made me snore deeper/ more consistently 😂 Plus, in the long term, it stretched out my skin on my nose, so that it looked wrinkled for awhile. So had to stop and let that collagen get back to work (if the damage hadn't been too much, in my mid-forties lol). I was afraid I'd have a wrinkled nose for the rest of my life.
