@@danieleren3382 Metal brackets are smaller so they are less abrasive on the lips/cheeks. Clear brackets are REALLY difficult to keep clean between appointments. If you drink coffee, eat dark chocolate, and/or curries.... the bands stain yellow. Many adults getting braces tend to use caffeine to get through the day because many have sleep issues so in this scenario, it doesn't make sense to get clear. I choose brackets over Invisalign because the dentist I'm working with has more experience with them than in Invisalign and claims he can get better results.

Clear ceramic brackets on top. Metal brackets on the bottom. If I could do it over again, I'd do metal brackets everywhere.
