Taping my mouth was life changing. Now I use taping along with a mouthpiece because the mouthpiece alone wont allow me to close my mouth. I use kinesiology tape and cut it into 3s $0 plus years of not sleeping well and now life has a different filter.
@@allsleepashley the mouthgaurd was done through my dentist. Its a prosomnus device, 2 pieces top and bottom, and the bottom has hooks to bring the jaw forward. Because its thick plastic my mouth is open so the tape really helps. Although i still snore at times its nasal snoring and not mouth snoring. It has helped a lot. The only time when i take the tape off is when im dreaming im i public and the i have the tape on )))))
I was thinking about the Myo Tape but was worried about having to take off and throw away and put on a new on if I got thirsty and needed a drink. But looks like I could use a straw thru that opening. Am I right? Thanks!
The myotape works best for those who have minimal difficulty keeping lips closed at night/during the day. If you notice your mouth is often open during the day and it's very difficult to seal your lips, it may be useful to try something like somnifix or 3M micropore as these will go directly across some or all of your lips.
I do nasal breathing .... But my left side is more stuffy than the right side y is dt ??? I close one side n breathe through left side i can still breathe but right side its more open
This could be from a deviated septum, nasal polyps, nasal trauma causing one nostril to be larger than the other, an asymmetrical palate and nasal cavity, asymmetrical turbinate enlargement, etc.
I like how you stated it may or may not be for everyone. You did a great job to help prepare people for this!
Thanks for the video. Your blouse, cardigan, and thick bread look just great!
I was hoping you'd put these on as there seems to be a knack to it.
Been taping my mouth for a few years now, breathing perfectly now.

This is great to hear. What kind of mouthpiece do you use and for what purpose?

Should you purse your lips before mouth taping? Or have a relaxed lip seal (I can comfortably have my lips sealed together).

You are correct. Also, taping your mouth will likely lead to less thirst during the night. With a closed mouth, your mouth will not become so dry.
A great trick I found is to put cut up some gelatin papers
I tried putting on the myotape but I can still open my mouth quite wide so am I putting in on incorrectly ?

For adult men, do you need to shave first.
