Assembly manual shows installation of pressure hose at pump to be installed 80 deg to the left of vertical so as not to bind when steering wheel turned either direction. Did not see that in this video

the first thing that I did with my C3 in Ottawa - New radiator 3 row champion. I love it, in hottest day in traffic no issue. The only problem that I had was the size of the radiator's top inlet. My new hose that has proper size for my thermostat housing neck was too big for new radiator top inlet, maybe thermostat housing not stock. I bought size reducer, put it in radiator inlet and no issue after 2 years. Also drilled 2 small holes in thermostat skirt. Good luck!

Nice! I found 1 near me with only 77,000, very clean. Only problem is it "runs rough" according to the owner. They installed a weber carb, not sure why they didnt keep it stock. Its an 86 crx. Should i buy or pass?

Wow, what a lucky guy you are. I'm 35, never owned a car, just got interested in getting my license and going out of the city. I searched for older cars because I prefer the looks of them and the Honda CRX is my favorite looking model of all time. I envy you my friend, one day I'll own one.

I watched your video and removed the seal from my timing cover. I found that an old sbc camshaft was the perfect size to drive the old one out - as I didn’t have a 2” socket

This brings back memories! My sister had a '85 CRX (red, 5-speed) for her first car in 1988. It was a blast to drive! She eventually bought a new Accord and sold the CRX to my best friend. He drove it until 1994 and has always regretted letting it go. I bought a '90 CRX Si (black) with 150k miles back in 1998. It had a few cosmetic issues, but was a great commuter and so much fun. I got it over the 200k mile mark and then sold it. Dumb mistake. They're worth a small fortune now.

Your idea to heat up the sprocket is spot on! I did the same to mine and it slid right on, no tapping needed. Same for using the pipe wrench to adjust the crankshaft. Exactly what I needed! Thank you!

I am preparing to do fiberglass resin/cloth treatment on all body panels of one of my CRXs before taking it to the painter. I thought I was the only one doing this! Thanks for the video-I may try a second layer of cloth on some areas, as you did on the nose panel. I am debating using some panel bonding adhesive (3M 08115) on the bolt areas and corners of the panels for extra strength (with fiberglass cloth) as recommended by my body guy. However, this stuff is $70 a tube and the gun to apply it is $90. I am thinking the fiberglass resin should be strong enough to prevent cracking. Any thoughts on this?
