In this video you're going to see the removal and replacement of the front disc brakes, rotors, hubs (The rotor and hub is one assembly in this Ranger), and inner and outer wheel bearings on a 2009 3rd generation Ford Ranger. The Ranger in the video is a 2 wheel drive extended cab, sports edition, 4.0 liter V6 engine. This video will highlight and explain the process along the way and show as accurately as possible the complete removal of the tires, brake assembly and the removal of the rotors and then the packing and installation of new bearings, new rotors, and new brake pads. This is a standard (and potentially expensive) maintenance job that would be required on this type of vehicle from time to time. The process would be identical for a Mazda B-Series light pick-up truck of the same year.
