Remember to put the fan shroud in before you install the radiator. It`s hard or probably impossible to put the shroud in after the radiator. TheCorvetteBen here on TH-cam has a shorts video showing this.
That's awesome. I've been a subscriber to thecorvetteben for years and will check out those videos. I agree with you and definately know that there is an order to putting these back together or else isn't not going to work. I'll try and emphasis that in the next video. Thanks so much for watching too btw. J
@@Motorcycologyon my ‘76 vette - which I am fixing up based on a lot of your videos - the previous owner had the radiator replaced and had the shroud split on the centerline top and bottom. They held together with reasonably tasteful metal straps, riveted to the shroud. Any chance you’re going to do the valve seals on your heads in situ? (Hint hint lol)
Where did you purchase your core support? I purchased one from a well known supplier and I had to do some serious metal grinding to get mine to fit.......even then the 2 lower side bolts don't line up.
I got my corsuport from Ecklers. Based on what you said, I was fortunate that mine fit. Let's see how it goes with the radiator . I've got an original , but it's old and looking at putting in an aluminum rad and I am anticipating a few potential fitment issue even though the rad is supposed to fit. We will see. 😂
That's the next part of this job. I needed to install new brake lines across the front cross member before installing the radiator , foam , and all the other pulleys and belts. Thanks for your comment.
I couldn't tell from the video, but what are the lower bolts attached to? I see the brackets, but what are those brackets attached to? The frame extension?
Took me a long time to reinstall the radiator after full suspension rebuild. Fortunately my core support was in good shape.
You will be driving soon!! Great video!

why didn't you install the radiator to support side and top foam/ seals?

@@Motorcycology ??? Those two components have nothing to do with each other...
