  • In this video you will see the removal of plastic body panels from this thriving and surviving 1987 Honda CRX. It's been 36 years since this car rolled off the factory Floor in Japan and it's time to repair and repaint the plastic Bakelite body panel. You will see the removal of the panels, temporary installation of replacement panels, plus the repair process for the cracked and broken body panels. This is part 2 and shows the removal and repair process of the cracks by using a combination of high strength epoxy, and fiberglass cloth to "permanently" repair the old, impossible to find panels on this unique survivor from the late 1980's. Stay tuned for part 3 which will show the refinishing process of the exterior of the panels.

That's awesome and a super good deal. You've got way more than $500 worth of parts . Great car to find and keep. Thanks for watching and for the comment! J

Good question and for me I used JB epoxy and the steel stick epoxy to fix the cracks in the fender and rebuild some missing parts. After that I put down the resin and fibre glass...so far so good. Thanks for watching , much appreciated.
