Another Beauty ♥️ Thank you BRITA 🙏♥️
Thank you so very much! 😘😘
I really thought this quilt was so far out of my ability I almost didn’t even watch - but watch I did and I bought the pattern! You are a genius! It really is easy if a quilter just follows the directions and sews her seams well! I a,so took some screen shots (I use an iPad) and I know I can find your video again! Thank you!
Thank you so much for buying the pattern. I know that you can make this quilt and I would love to see it when it is done. Thank you for being here.
Another brilliant quilt ❤Thank you BRITA 🙏♥️
Thank you for the kind words.
I love your tutorials ❤Thank you 🙏
You are so welcome! 🥰🥰
Hello Brita, I really love this pattern. Thank you to share it with use, it's simply great. Many greetings and happy quilting ❤
Thank you so much! Sorry I haven't been in touch lately. So very busy, I think you know how it is. Good to hear from you.
❤
🥰🥰
Question & a statement…. STATEMENT…I love your videos and how you show different possibilities of layouts and colors!! I check monthly for your videos and glad to see you post again!!❤️💙💛💚 QUESTION… I’m guessing that if I wanted to make bigger blocks that to cut the four patch…that the measurement is 1/3 of the size of the four patch? (Example…finished 4 patch is 9”…cut 1.5 inches from center?)
I am so happy that you like the quilts. I was getting one out a month, but I just couldn't keep it up. I am so glad that you waited for me. ANSWER: You are exactly right about the math. I have done all the work for you and have a chart with all the cutting sizes on my website: questioningquilter.com/chart/ This shows the starting size of the squares, the size of the 4-Patch and how far from the center to cut, and the size of the final block. You can also use this chart for the Disappearing Hourglass and Disappearing Pinwheel quilts. In those cases, the first column is the size of the Half Square Triangle block. Note: If you decide to make this quilt with much bigger blocks, be aware that you have to make a lot of blocks and be a little distance away to get the optical illusion. If you make the blocks too big, you might not be able to get far enough away to see the illusion.
@@QuestioningQuilter EXCELLENT!!!! Thank you for your reply!!
I could not make this pattern bc I would not like to look at that, ever. Makes my eyes swim. Yikes!
I appreciate that is isn't for everyone, but I am so glad that you are here and commented on it. Thanks!
@@QuestioningQuilter I’m not criticizing your work, just the pattern. My eyes don’t like it. It looks like a difficult pattern to make, so good job!
So smart
Thank you!
I just found your channel. I am amazed by your ideas.
I am so happy that you found me! I am glad to have you along for the adventure. Thanks!
Wow! Thats awesome!
Thanks! 🥰🥰
@@QuestioningQuilter, I tried to purchase the pattern, but had difficulty with the website.
Great video, thank you. Do whatever makes you feel most inspired. That energy is part of what makes your videos so enjoyable to watch!
I am so happy to know that you are enjoying the videos. I love making these quilts and I guess it shows. And, I really love hearing the wonderful words from viewers like you. Thanks so much.
From Australia 🇦🇺 thankyou for such a clear, concise explanation of how to make an optical illusion.
I am so happy to hear from so far away. It makes me smile to think I am "internationally known". 🥰🥰 Thanks so much!
Oh my Brita, you've done it again! What a lovey talented Lady you are.! Amazing!!! Im going to have to buy this pattern fairly soon me thinks.😂😂😂🤔🤔🤔 Thank you. Love from New Zealand.❤
So exciting to hear from the other side of the world. Does the quilt look different upside down? 🙃😉 If you do make this quilt, I hope that you will share a picture with me. Thanks so much for being here. Love from USA.
@QuestioningQuilter I didn't notice, was it upside down??😂
You are amazing! I love your quilts and tutorials
Glad you like them! Thanks for being here.
Talk about movement! Whenever I move my eyes over the surface of the quilt, the "spiraling" shows up clear as a bell ... but, when I look at a moving spot, the "spiraling" shifts ... pretty slick!
I am so happy that you like it! Thanks.
WOW!
Thanks!!!
Amazing! You are definitely brilliant! I love the efficient version. ❤
You are too kind. Thanks so much!
Brilliant!
Thanks!!
This is amazing! My fingers are itching to make this in batiks.
That will look amazing. I hope you send me a picture. Thanks!
Oh my goodness! I love quilts but this one messes with my brain/vision.
Thanks, I think.... 🙃
@@QuestioningQuilter I have had a few instances where certain designs affect me in a dizzying way. I think your quilt is awesome.
What a fun and wonderful tutorial! Love your quilts and your explanations. I just might have to make this one!
I really hope that you do! Thanks so much.
Thank you.. another winner!
Thank you!
I love all of these. This one got me though. This is the first time I was dizzy, from looking at an image. I love this. It's on my list. You are an inspiration and your quilt blocks are amazing.
You are so very sweet. You are making me blush. Thanks so much for the kind words. 🥰🥰
Wow, nice job explaining how to make it especially showing how to make the back look so good.
I am so happy to know that you liked it. I worried because it is longer than my usual videos. Thanks so much for the reassurance.
Awesome tutorial. Love this
Thanks so much 😊
you do such a wonderful job with the construction of your block-I appreciate the time & explanations-thank you
I am so glad to know that you appreciate the construction details. I know it is longer than my usual videos, but I though it was important. It is reassuring to know that you liked it. Thanks!
Excellent, in every way way , explained sooo very well , Australia
It is so very nice of you to say so! Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
I don't think I can sew and quilt a quilt like that. It makes me dizzy just to look at it. However, making it all scrappy should work for me. Your quilt looks a lot like OP Art to me.
I am glad to hear that you like the scrappy version. I love when people start with one of my patterns and make it even better. I would love to see your scrappy version. I had to look up OP Art, and you are exactly right. Thanks so much for pointing that out!
I really lie watching your videos because I never know what you come up with next. Thank you.
LOL. I never know what I am going to come up with either. 🤣Sometimes I have an idea, and when I get around to the video, it has changed into something completely different. Thanks so much for being here.
Thank you for demonstrating how to open that center seam. I had seen it described a time or two and it made no sense to me. Why would you cut open a seam? Thanks for a wonderful pattern.
I am so glad that this was helpful. Thank you so much for watching.
Another great pattern! Thanks Brita
Glad you like it! Thank you!
YOU are amazing!!
Awwww, you are too kind. Thank you so much. 💕💕
The second layout is most pleasing to my eye. Thanks Brita for sharing your incredible creations!!
Thanks for letting me know, and thank you for your kind words. 🥰🥰
Yayyyy a new video Your videos are always fantastic 😊😊😊
Yay! Thank you! You have just made me smile. 🥰🥰🥰
@QuestioningQuilter I've bought fabric and the Moroccan tiles quilt will be next project ... thank you for your inspiration
Wow that scrappy one looked so cool!!!
I agree! I love when people take something I created, and take it to the next level. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for your in-depth tutorials. I most certainly I’m passing this on to all of my quilting friends.!! ❤
Thank you so much. It is always great to hear from you!
