This quilt is 45" X 54" and is made of 30 Pinwheels (120 Half Square Triangle blocks) and needs 1 3/4 yards of each color fabric.

I LIKE THE TWO COLOR ONE BEST. AND THANK YOU FOR NOT USING PRE-CUTS. SOMETIMES/MOSTLY, IMO THERE ARE TOO MANY COLORS IN THOSE ROLLS AND ALWAYS LEFTOVERS! LOVE YOUR DESIGN WALL. I AM JEALOUS!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BRETA!!
I am so happy that you like the design. I try to mix the designs up with one or two colors, scraps and precuts. But I try to always show what a one or two color version would look like if it is a multi color quilt.
I don't have a fabric store so I don't have any incentive to try to sell you pre-cuts. I only include them because viewers have asked for ideas to use the ones they have in their stash.

I love how you do incredible designs with only 2 or 3 colours. Makes it much easier. I live in a little town with very limited access to fabric, so trying to find multiple coordinating fabrics is a nightmare. You made beautiful doable. And I like not needing heaps of background fabric. It's all the pattern. Thank you.
I am so happy that you like the designs. I try to alternate between, 2 color, 3 color and scraps. I know what you mean about trying to find coordinating fabrics. I know that a lot of people buy their fabrics online, but I love to see and touch the fabric and put the fabrics next to each other to determine if I like the combination. That's why so many of my quilts use white as a background. It always goes. :-)

Love your videos and hope your series doesn’t “disappear.” I suggest turning the new block on its side and calling it the Disappearing Fast Forward, as in button, and also good reminder to stay in the moment.

I like the Fast Forward idea, and the concept of staying in the moment, but looking ahead to what can be created.

Honestly, just do it. Decide on a simple pattern, Brita’s are lovely, buy/thrift your fabric and start. Take your time, there’s no hurry. Make it a useful or display size, just not too big for your first. There’s loads of advice on how to achieve good results on TH-cam so check if you’re not sure. I started my first quilt 6 months ago and now I’m working on my fifth. I made some mistakes, nothing that unpicking couldn’t fix, but I’m thrilled with them all. Good luck x
