    Good afternoon Brita, I am one that has to be organised and it goes for me quilting as well. Now i would not normally in any way, shape, or form go for your scrappy, but that is my favourite. I also like how you take all the "odd" ones in my mind, and make it into a tiny fence rail twist, making them all meet and be matching. THank you flower for showing just how you can change a block so much with just playing with it before sewing it into the obvious look. Crafty hugs, from Norah, Glenochil, Scotland

      @QuestioningQuilter  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I am happy to have opened your mind to other fabric options (like scrappy). 🤗🤗🤗 Thank you so much for reaching out from bonnie Scotland. I love how much fun you can have with the disappearing blocks.

    I have been trying to decide which one of your blocks to use for my sister's quilt for quite awhile now but finally committed to this one! I made one block the other day and it is beautiful! When I originally asked her what her favorite colors are she said purples, blues and greens! Of course she wouldn't make it easy on me! I had a gorgeous peacock fabric with all those colors in it and used it! I didn't have much but was able to get four peacocks to make individual blocks and used some of the scraps to make one of your beautiful blocks! I am going to use different shades of each color to make individual flowers. I'm going to change out the centers on some of them, like a lilac center with a dark purple, etc. It's going to be beautiful! Thank you again for all you do! Blessings to all in love and light!🙏🏼💜🙏🏼💙🙏🏼🧡🙏🏼💛🙏🏼💚🙏🏼

    • @QuestioningQuilter
      @QuestioningQuilter  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am so excited to know that you will be using this pattern for a quilt for your sister. The peacock fabric sounds fantastic. I like that you are going to trade out the centers. I really think that looks the best. I hope that you will share a picture of the quilt with me before you give it to her.
      Thanks so much for sharing this with me.

      I am so glad that you like the style of the videos, I really appreciate you letting me know.
      I create the color option graphics myself. I am happy to know that you like them. I hadn't really thought to compare the graphics. I watch videos made by professional quilters/quilt companies with staff to make quilts and samples, a camera crew and video editors and shake my head because I can never be that good.
      I do EVERYTHING myself. I am just a retired grandma working alone in a spare bedroom turned quilt studio. LOL I really appreciate hearing that my videos compare favorably.
      Thanks!!!

      Sometimes I feel like a blind squirrel, digging and digging until I finally come up with design. I often can't tell until after it is published which ones will be popular. 🤷‍♀️

    Love your Celtic Rose disappearing block tutorials. Especially how you show the same pattern in different colors and ideas for different placements. It's hard to pick just one as my favorite. I'm picking the scrap squares. I will sew my scraps grouped by color families. Thank you for the inspiration.

    Well, this looks like something. I need to add in my pattern collection! It's so fun to see how changing things up can make them look so totally different. And I like the really scrappy one which is not my norm. I don't think I seen one of your videos before thank you!

      I am so happy to hear that you like to see all the different options. I have a fondness for scrap quilts and teach that they don't have to be random. There is no reason not to organize your scraps to give extra dimension to your quilt. Thanks for watching.

    I like the way we don't have to sit through you sewing each seam, and just show each step as completed. Also the many variations of colour you show for each pattern.
    Gives many ideas without the boring bits that seem to pad out other quilting videos 😀
