Well go to Google ask what Ford truck problems are and then you'll find out some things
How many miles to E do you get at a full tank ?
Saved me Ty
also the TCM on LML's are known to fail........i just bought ATS T87 with co-pilot........ill let you know how that goes after install
Does anyone have any thoughts/advice for me? I'd love to buy a 2013 to 2015 VW Golf TDI, or a 2014/2015 Audi Q5 TDI. Would also be happy with a 2013 to 2015 Jetta/Golf wagon TDI, though I personally prefer the regular hatch. The 13' and 14' VW TDIs had the previous engine, while the 15's had the newer one, though I'm not sure how different they are. However, the 13's and 14's had an independent rear suspension and no AdBlue system, which could be a benefit over the 15's.
Plus the added bonus of having 600+ HP on tap when you want it.
I just put a DCR by S&S in my 2019 6.7l so I can sleep at night.
So I tried this tonight and mine is still not working. 😮 pulled the sync and radio fuses as well. All buttons work but my audio button does not. My radio won’t come on. I can pair my phone- but no sound to talk or play my music. Any ideas??
I hate the engine auto start stop. I disabled mine.
I lol me rmr cut I don’t put red dots on any carry gun waste of time
Could it be said, based on the comments I have been reading, that the slides last between 25,000 and 30,000 shots?
Car manufacturers don't want you fixing your own vehicle. They want you to take it to the dealership so they get more money
No need to ramble on and on about the weather. People are here for truck stuff.
What about the $10,000 battery You’ll eventually need to replace?
You live in easton smh I need an serious attorney, I bought a Tesla & my battery broke in 2 months of me owning it & the dealer wouldn’t fix my car and now I’m in death $39,000 from a $26000 model s 85d & banned from Tesla super charging & did I forget to mention I worked for Tesla ……
The Rams from 2019 and 2020 had the CP4 recalled and replaced with a CP3. I have a 2020 2500 Cummins, and it’s had the recall done, no CP4 on that.
That screen is NICE!
Amazing video! I was between buying a used 2020 Model S Long Range Plus or buying a new regular Model S and this video really felt like it was speaking to me directly! Thanks for the great review and you definetley helped me make the decision! Think its a great time to buy as well because I am seeing them with 20-30K miles for under $45K
Glad it was helpful!
2014 passat tdi. Ive gone 1100 miles on one tank.
Does anyone know what the little truck icon means when it pops up while in adaptive cruise? It is on the top left of the HUD and it comes on and off randomly it seems and I don't know what it is signifying.
All wrong info
i just bought a 2015 for $11,000 in like-new condition 90,000 miles. well cared for. no accidents. DSG. yes i see you worry for longevity. it's the car i've wanted and I searched all over the west and couldn't find a better one. The low mileage ones are going like hotcakes now. The DSG has proven to actually last. Gotta keep up on the 40,000 mile service.
I got my brand new 2024 Ranger with this engine here in Brazil, traded it for my 2.8 L baby Duramax powered Chevrolet S10 (similar to the Colorado). My first impressions are that it´s much smoother, but it using a bit more fuel than the Chevy.
Did you call your F350 a Duramax?
22 Lariat PB 6” Lift 17”w/35” tires 25k miles…drove it from socal to Lake Tahoe, Reno, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, n back to socal. Smooth ride and plenty of power.
Love it on my 2017. If you dont have it you better get it
I likely wouldn't need much I would charge it every day we don't pay for electricity so that will not cost me anything. If I bought it I would likely add solar panels to it
Weak grip. 100% the reason for all that recoil.
$1,000.00 per month is totally ridiculous! Absolutely no way on this gods green earth could I’ve fathom that!!!
I did that and still didn't work 🙃
I keep hearing people are really happy with the 2.7liter ecoboost. What is your thoughts on it? I'm thinking about going with that model, not planning on towing anything heavy.
I've been looking at getting the power boost and I'm wondering why they haven't put that powertrain in the expedition yet
I had the 3 l powerstroke and for the 40,000 mi that I had put on it I had no problems but when diesel prices shot up to twice as much as normal gasoline became less efficient than standard gasoline especially since I really wasn't doing any towing but I averaged about 24 miles per gallon with it which was great
I have a 2017 expedition 3.5 l EcoBoost with over 210,000 mi all original components original transmission
It's an awesome platform.. I get 30 to 37mpgs on the highway in my 2021 Powerboost, and I currently hold the record for Fastest and Highest HP Powerboost. th-cam.com/video/VXhVFSjQ9VQ/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared

Good explanation. BUT, I have covered 1,200 miles in a day with a 2015 Model S 90D. Didn't spend 45 minutes at a charger normally. It was not as fast as the new model, but it was acceptable.
Um slow down before you crest the hill...rpms WAY TO HIGH.
The whole point was to show that the exhaust brake "can" slow the truck down..... but not nearly as well as the Cummins or Duramax. And it needs to rev the piss out of the engine to build up enough backpressure to slow the truck down....
@@ArmyProperty um cdl a here...used both jakes and exhaust brake setups over the years...mechanically they are different and jakes tend to be stronger...and yes you should keep revs between 1500 and 2000ish... but...ive done cabbage, Black canyon, butte, ike/valle, donner, berkely in wv to know before you crest the hill you slow to between 25 and 35 (depending on load) otherwise 1. Your compression engine braking system will be less effective against gravity and momentum and 2...youre less likely to turn pistón rods into ballistic projectiles that pierce the Block, oil pan or heads due to OVERSPEED... i drive for a living very large diesel trucks... i think some mechanics a I would know. But enjoy your engine replacement..ameature.
@@aaronperdue8979 thanks for that super helpful feedback. Speaking of "ameature" you might not have noticed, but our RPM's stayed under 3,000 the entire time. Even after the truck took it upon itself to downshift, in order to build extra backpressure. That's well below redline. (And the Duramax is built to run over the redline when doing exhaust braking.) So no, we don't ever have connecting rods turning into projectiles because we don't put the truck into an overspeed condition. We're also way under the payload and towing limits. If you have a problem with that, all we can say is that maybe you should apply to work at Ford and tell them how to do their jobs.
Um no. Granted the six liter diesels rev higher.... but spun bearings, engine life... ive also driven auto and manuals. Any grade over 5 percent and over a mile-again depending on you load- should be started well under 40. Again, between 25 and 35...depending on load... in some cases even 15 if really heavy or long grade because even with a type of compression brake momentum, weight, gravity, grade steepness and length... and, slower means youll have to use service brakes LESS...even with compression braking of types... at 80k topping ike or donner im between 15 and 25... full jakes on 7th or 8th gear..and still have to tap the brakes time to time... and watch my tach. But approaching suck a long steep grade over 40 in any diesel at any weight...is...dumb.
did you Forscan shut off the annoying backup speaker my 23 driving me nuts not bad with windows up but i average 21.4 in town and 200 mile trip to Dad n Moms i have gotten 27.3 at 70 mph
Thank you. This video helped me out with my 2021 Badlands Bronco. Just had the same issue with my audio. Pulling and placing the audio fuse in helped turn the audio back on.
I got a 2010 f150 4.6 3v I love it city I get 14.5 hwy I get 19.5 @ 200,000 miles rn runs strong 💪 it’s paid off but thinking of trading her in for a power boots but don’t know if I’m gonna kick myself in the ass if I do trade her in 😅
Ford guys are always in "limp mode" at least mentally speaking.
We've never had that problem "lol," but thanks! They hate us cause they ain't us!
I had this problem with my volume control and this fixed it. I ended up just pulling the fuse out and putting it back in. It was not popped.
The modular Ford V8 engines currently get over a quarter million miles quite frequently
Have you found the cord for the block heater?
Is any software installed????
How is it converted?
Weight adds lots of costs you forgot about. 🍻
Not really…. we drive trucks that weigh almost 9,000lb (empty) and they run just fine. As long as the axles, brakes, suspension components, etc are strong enough it’s just not a major issue.
@@ArmyProperty That's STELLANTIS we're talking about. 🤣
@@aarsenalfan hahahahaha well, you're right about that. Last product of theirs that we bought was a 2003 Ram 3500, which has actually held up well. But that was when they were "DaimlerChrysler." And the company has been sold THREE TIMES since then. So yeah..... a lot of their recent product is highly suspect.
Americans probably have no idea that the 3.0 F-150 engine is built in London, England.
So in a nutshell... if you are towing frequently buy the 5.0.
