Sounds amazing til your cp4, egr, turbo or dpf fails and you're out of your warranty. Heard all that craps before. Same ol story but the same ol F crappy engineering w union workers.

I'm just about to turn over 130K on my 2011 F250. It gets about 22mpg on cruise control, mostly level freeway at 56-70 mph. Same speeds on hillly highway runs 20-21 mpg. Add a trailer on level and I can get up to 17 but usually runs about 15-16. This varies a little summer to winter given they change the fuel composition from summer to winter. The trick to that extra mile or two is to set cruise and keep your foot out of it. I have gotten as much as 24 on level to slight downhill slopes at 70-75.

I averaged 19.5 from NJ to DC round trip, 514 miles total, 2023 F350 Lariat Tremor, 6.7 HO

Not bad!! I would've thought the Tremor would do worse because of the off-road tires, smaller front air dam, etc.
You're probably not too far from us, we're just across the river on the PA side.

@@ArmyProperty thank you! Have a 2021 f150 and I need to get a bigger truck been looking at f350 dually with 3.55 to try to better on fuel with it being my daily driver and not towing everyday

@@johndeere883 well as we have come to discover, this truck is very comfortable to drive, maneuverable, quick on its feet, a real pleasure. But the only way to really justify the absurd price you pay for it, is if you do lots and lots of towing.

I asked this on one of your other videos, meant to do it here. What do you suggest the first oil change mileage should be at? 1k, 2500k or 5k? The manual doesnt say, just talks about the break in period, no heavy towing til 1000 miles,. Also would you change your fuel filters as well at the same time?? Thanks

Everyone's got a different opinion about that. If you watch "PD Diesel," he does his first oil change at 1K. We'll probably do our first one a little early, maybe around 3-4K. The "lie-o-meter" usually advises you to drive approx 7-8K between changes. We usually do fuel filters every other oil change.
Saw your Savannah / Tybee video, by the way. Nice! We lived in Savannah on and off for about 9 years. Loved (almost) every minute.

@@ArmyProperty the video shut off half way thru, dont know what happened, pissed me off seeing it took hours to upload.
I just passed the 1000k mark and i believe i get 3 free oil changes from the dealer. Monday getting my gooseneck installed and start hauling cars again, so excited to see how it pulls.
