Thanks for the info. I was wondering about this heating system and how it worked. I bought my truck two days ago(F350) and it's 10 degrees F outside here in northern Idaho and I'm going to start up the rig and see how long it takes to get warm as you did in your example here in this video. I guess I have no way of knowing that the heater is working unless 20 minutes into the drive i'm still getting cold air. Happy New Year!!!!

You have to be in tow haul mode I believe
@@louisvargas7345 yup, the gauges completely change when you go into tow-haul. We leave it in that mode 100% of the time.

Unfortunately not! It's buried deep inside the ductwork of your HVAC system, and would be practically impossible to install after the fact.
