I wouldn't iron the tablecloth. Oh, I need that cabinet in my dining room! Your daughter's wreath is the sweetest! I live in Christian county, Ky. I have one turkey that is a tureen i had picked up at an estatesalea few years back.. It's small like the size of yours. They are just fun, aren't they?

Beautiful mantel, the room is grand and therefore the scale of the items you place on the mantel is important. Perhaps flanking each end with larger vases or hurricanes and candles would work? I’m constantly struggling with my mantel but enjoy playing around with it!! Love your content!! 😊

our historic house comes with dust, so my littles one's favorite chore is wiping the skirting boards. solo mum, so i have a regular fortnightly cleaning crew come in and we all have to pitch in daily, but my kids have the option to earn pocket money by doing added tasks. im trying to teach them the value of a dollar earned and like skills. can't wait to see the finished lamp.

I commented yesterday but somehow it is not here! I just love your roomy old fashion house. It is such a cozy palate to play with. I love all the clever decorating ideas. The idea of thrifting and foraging Christmas decor is a really great one. Somehow it seems more in keeping with the season. I just went thrifting to decorate my house for the New Year’s Day party for my extended family. The theme is Narnia. I thrifted white throws, sheets and tablecloths. I am going for a snowy look with lots of snowy evergreens. Also old timey Father Christmases. Somehow I have to work in a lamp post and a wardrobe. I am envious of all your wardrobes! May I borrow one? 😊

I had this furniture when I was a little girl, and I also had the bunkbeds with a matching desk and dresser in the bunkbeds. Also had drawers built in.

Does floors unfortunately, have years of grime? You need to strip the old wax before you put any new wax app on the floor as he will still look patchy, I could see some spots in there that with the wax is not gonna be cover. You do need to removethe all grime. First before you relax your floors. Just saying

Very nice! Love your mantle decor and the wreath your daughter made is beautiful! The table decorations are really pretty, but I would get fall color taper candles - gold, green, brown, etc. and put those on the table or mantle. Love the acorn holders so much.

Your table and centerpiece are lovely. I’m inspired to make some wreaths myself after seeing this. I have some dried hydrangea blooms that I clipped this fall and I think I will try to incorporate those into a wreath and a centerpiece. ☺️

What a treasure to have and use family things passed down.

The table looks beautiful. I love the colour combination and the pressed glass glassware is gorgeous. I hate ironing tablecloths but I think it’s worth it in this case. I think if it’s left wrinkled it looks like an oversight. I expect that shrub is a burning bush. I’ve noticed that even after the branches are trimmed and brought inside the leaves continue to turn to a deep crimson red.

The pumpkins & pears and wreaths look nice...the plain cabinet in your dining room contrasts nice with your fancy fireplace..you could always put dishes on top of it..Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍂 ps collect decor every year
