A little bit more comfort when it’s cold would be a rug between the two beds and some plumper pillows .

We are having a house full today for St. Patrick and St Joseph.
I love having a guest room. I have 3 now that our children are out on their own.
Mine are much much smaller than yours, Kathleen 😅
But I love getting it ready for guests.

Spring is here in the southwest. The birds are everywhere. I put up the feeder and it is crowded all day with such beautiful birds.
I planted some of my garden and putting some flowers out in pots.
I love this time of year
before it gets too hot.

Lovely Spring prep.!!❤ I'm retired and in the smallest place I have ever lived..Not much Spring preparation. Fresh flowers and I usually switch out bedding to fluffy ruffle whites😊

I have a much smaller house, whe we bacame empty nesters we built our "forever" ranch home a few years ago. We host our adult children and their spouses (and soon a grandchild!!) in our cozy guest room. I have two butler's racks I got off Amazon that I can open inside the closet for their bags. I found a towel hook that slips over the door to hang their towels. I leave bottles of water on the nightstands, too. The toiletries I have in a drawer in the hall bath. Your large guest room is fantastic! In another life I'd love to own an old farmhouse with all the fireplaces, high ceilings and rooms!

My two cents - not that you asked for it - would be to move both beds a little closer to the dresser. Then you could put a little table on each of the far sides of the beds so both guests have somewhere to put their water glass, phone, jewelry etc beside them where they sleep. One item I’ve enjoyed adding to guest rooms is a thrifted trinket dish to store/collect your guests’ small items.
