I’m taking a trip for 3 weeks this May. I’m only bringing 2 pants, 3 shirts, 1 skirt, underpinnings, layering a knit blazer and a coat. Being the maximalist that I am, this will be a true test for me! I hope to carry this concept home. Instead of coming home with an extra wardrobe!

I started wearing skirts vs pants about a year ago. I have a few beautiful linen mid length skirts. In winter I wear wool tights under them so I wear them year round. I eventually want to get some blouses vs t shirts but right now I pretty much wear t shirts with them. I layer up in winter with something under and over the t shirts. I pretty much wear the same clothes year round. I just switch up the layering. So I really don't have a separate wardrobe for different seasons.
I just bought new pants from llbean. My current selection for winter are really wearing out. And so many of my sweaters got stained or threadbare or just not looking great anymore. I am muddling through with what I have but looking forward to spring!
You look lovely! I especially like your striped balloon skirt. It was funny to hear you say you bought a cashmere sweater at marshalls. I want to add an oatmeal colored cashmere sweater to my 10 item and i looked on everlane, 170$! ok can't afford that today so I went to marshalls and only found one with a little doggy in the corner , so that wasnt my style. Im still on the hunt , i will try to thrift one or wait for everlane to go on sale. Thank you for sharing. Love your classy style room as well.
