Thrifting a Beautiful Home

- You don't have to spend a lot of money to decorate your home with beautiful pieces. Today I thought I'd take you on a tour of some of my house and show you just some of the things I've sourced thrifted and secondhand - I say just some, because I'm pretty sure everything in my house is secondhand or thrifted. Ok maybe 98%! It really adds up to that collected over time, worn in, country house look that we love. I'm also sharing the budget friendly flooring option we chose to get some fun color into our home, and a couple of unexpected, but long wished and looked for treasures I found on the clearance rack when I popped into my local Marshalls last week!

Pretty much the only things we buy new is food and underwear. :) An antique/thrifted/second-hand life is such an adventure and makes your home and yourself a reflection of where you've been and what you've done. I wouldn't want it any other way. Thanks for sharing your very cozy snug!

You have a rainbow vac! Me too! I cleaned houses for years to pay for it. They're the best. Lovely home! Similar to mine. Now I am retired widow. Did al the things. Still love life and my lovely home 🏡💝

That red room is beautiful and that beautiful red oriental rug...red is not just for Christmas... I have a red table cloth in my dining room..

Your cozy room is lovely! I think the leather sofa and blue sectional compliment each other nicely. I am a older mom to 8, my youngest is 7. So I watch a lot of childrens movies, maybe you have seen nanny mcfee ? Your home style reminds me of the house in that movie.

Your room is a very comfy looking recreation room. I'm sure many great memories are made there. The fridge being there is a surprise however its quite practicle to get drinks from there on movie nights 🤗😉

Love the granny square throw! just found this channel and you so remind me of a friend of mine when my sons were young. Happy memories. I too have a "snug". We are getting ready to do some remodeling in our living room and I have shoved everything I can into a pass through room. Old houses have quirky spaces, don't they? :)
