New to the TS12 cult. Went to my local gun store today thinking I was gunna put my name on a list to wait for a 1301, but man this thing was just waaaay too cool to pass up and it has great reviews. Stoked to go pick it up when the black one i ordered comes in next week!
@@PeaK808 That's amazing, couple questions, how often are you cleaning it and to clean the barrel you can just do a simple field strip and run a bore snake through it correct? Appreciate all the videos on this weapon system!
@@DannyPhantom992 I’ve been cleaning it every 500 rounds. The more I’ve run it the less I’ve experienced malfunctions as round count increases, but what happens is that the piston gets really dirty and you start to have problems. It’s really important that once you start getting these malfunctions you field strip and clean, don’t just switch the gas to high and try to run through it. In a pinch this works for the short term, but doing this long term can cause damage to the system: Yes you can field strip and just run a bore snake through🤙🏾
Tier 117 lol It has so much surface area and a straight up channel into the tube it couldn’t be any easier. If you find a way to quad load it, please let me know, I couldn’t for the life for me figure out how to make it work.
For: Peak 808 “Attak Consulting” shows quad loading the TS12. Same way as with 2-gun comp. guns: 4 in the hand; 2 rows stacked. Slide in first 2 (1st row). Then slide in 2nd 2 (2nd row). Same way; no difference. Works well. Just takes practice.
That's awesome bro been wanting to get the Black aces bp shotgun with the lefty side ejector just kinda hard to get it atm lol always out of stock. Nice range btw, is that in waimea side?
The TS12 is currently not convertible to left hand ejection. It was supposed to be, but IWI has a disclaimer on their page that it cannot be done at this time. I’ve spoken to someone who works at IWI US and the word is it’s coming, but it’s in the distant future
Thanks for the knowledge! Yes I had called IWI a few months ago and in short they said there were no left hand bolts available. IWI was and always has been AWESOME (in my experience) with customer service; they gave me a list of certified armorers I could call to see if they were stocked with bolts but everyone is out. Just a bummer the TS12 wasn’t readily convertible as advertised at shotshow and all print media I saw prior to my purchase. It’s all good though, still running the TS12, still loving it, I’m also testing the X95 and got my hands on a T7
Aloha e my friend hope you’re doing well!🤙🏾 The MA buttpad is a game changer, and out of all the changes I’ve made to my TS12, it’s second behind how I now carry slugs on the side with ESSTAC shotgun cards. Much like their pads for the X95 and Tavor 7, there isn’t much in felt recoil (in my opinion, I also think the TS12 is pretty soft shooting for a 12ga) it’s just more comfortable and, more importantly to me, provide a good reference to me of where I’m shouldering my firearm. For me, the pronounced heel of the MA buttpad goes into the pocket of my shoulder (if you’re familiar with anatomy at all where the subscapularus meets the labrum). and it’s perfect presentation every time for me. So yes, I really, really like the MA buttpad, but I don’t think it does much for recoil mitigation if that’s what you’re looking for. Hope this helps🤙🏾
@@PeaK808 Thank you for the information and that does make sense as shouldering in a high stress situation you want to know where it is. Also planned on adding shotgun cards on it as well. Blessings
@@livingwordchurchsanantonio7462 glad I could help out Yes, the cards are a huge game changer; they completely changed how I do ammo swaps and everything is just SO much more streamlined, faster, and more intuitive. I used to run shotshell carriers on my belt and have all kinds of stuff which definitely works and it’s great BUT it’s a very specific setup on your kit. With the cards it’s grab and go. If you have mag pouches they store perfectly in an AR mag pouch, you can also throw cards in a Fanny pack and it works surprisingly well. Love love love the shotgun cards concept, when they wear out F ‘em throw them away buy more they’re cheap enough🤙🏾

Thanks for the video, I also shoot left handed from being left eye dominant. I agree with the conversion to left handed, from the manual to the website, and videos from IWI, they have in my opinion contradicted themselves or weren't clear on the message. Looking forward to shooting mine once it arrives.
Jason S. Glad you liked the video🤙🏾 yes it was a bummer when I found out I couldn’t switch it over to left side eject after thinking it was easily convertible. I agree with you 100 percent on IWI not being clear as far as that goes; regardless it’s a ton of fun and if you are using a holosight or RDO, shooting both eyes open will enable you to use it right handed pretty easily, the only obstacle for me was learning my head position
I’ve run several sights on my TS12 but I’ve been using an EOTech for the better part of the last year. Burris FastfireIII Sig Sauer Romeo 5 Sig Sauer Romeo 5 XDR Trijicon RMR PA cyclops 1x ACSS EOTech EXPS 3
What’s up my eagle eyed friend! I will usually shoot a lot of raw video over a few days or weeks. When I started filming and messing around with the TS12, the EOTech I had ordered for it hadn’t come in yet because it takes FOREVER for things to get to Hawai’i, not to mention most of the island I live on doesn’t get delivery service through USPS. Because of this I took off my Burris Fastfire 3 I had on my G40 and threw it on the Tavor so I could have some sort of sighting system. It was less than ideal being that it was set so low and I didn’t have a high enough riser on hand. When I made the change to the EXPS-2 enough time had gone by that I forgot to mention it in the final edit. This is one of my first review videos, I’m working on the final edits for my deep dive long review of the TS12 and hopefully I’ve learned something and improved in my video production, but we’ll see😂
Old vid. So this may not find you. But, if it does. The shooters, manufacturers, & engineers I’ve asked so far… say that, “High Brass” vs “Low Brass”… from a real-world practical standpoint… means absolutely nothing. With modern ammo, there is zero difference between the two. The different heights of the brass… is strictly a marketing point inside the gun industry & corporate world. High Brass vs Low Brass: “A distinction, without a difference.” Take care. :))
Chris Johnson brah I was blown away when I found out how much they’re going for right now! I think this is the only thing besides fish I was able to find cheaper in Hawai’i than on the mainland
Fight Justice thanks for the input. Yes my microphone I had then was awful, I have since upgraded and this problem won’t happen again in future videos... I’m dropping a video about the TS12 1000 rounds later review, hopefully I’ll have addressed what you couldn’t hear in this video✊🏾
