IWI has adapted their futuristic "Beast of a bullpup rifle" into the ultimate compact personal-defense shotgun, the Tavor TS12. The TS12 is gas-operated, which cushions felt recoil and makes it easy to control, and with a formidable 15+1 capacity, its an outstanding law enforcement or home defense firearm.

All you need now are the Manicore Arms curved butt pads for the TS12 and X95, and Manticore Arms' muzzle break for the TS12, and you're good to go.

    *Caution*
If you buy a *IWI Tavor TS12* make sure to _TEST_ each & every type of shell you plan to use
as many *TS12s* are ammo sensitive, _even more so than other automatic shotguns._

I’ve got X95 in 556 & 300BO and OG SAR in 556 plus Tavor 7 in 762 so a 12-gauge that takes Beretta/Benelli choke adaptors means I can throw a SiCo Salvo 12 on this beauty. All the IWI bull pups are the greatest of all time! Buying Keltec RDBs for the kids and extended family now. #RDBFTW discovered because of this vid and subbed.

I love my IWI platforms. The Tavor 7 is still going strong. I'm also still rocking and rolling with my Galil Ace 7.62x39 pistol even now since the ammo isn't stupid expensive yet.
I'd love to get a TS-12 but I can't validate it right now. Even 12 gauge is hard to find where I live.

For me the biggest criticism and question mark around semi auto shotguns is always going to reliability and cycling. These reviews recorded all inside without showing the gun actually in use shooting and/cycling is just a bunch of unnecessary talking. That's just me, but as the saying goes; action speaks louder than words. Show me what it can do, then share your words of opinion and experience.
I do appreciate this being the 1st review to describe how to load 17 rounds.

@@BlackLabelElite Yeah ammo is bullshit right now. Even bird shot is hard to find where I live. Honestly though if it'll cycle reliably with birdshot I'd have very little doubt about Buckshot or slugs.

    • @selfmadetool

I have iron sights and a light and so far everything has remained stable. I would highly recommend the Manticore Arms muzzle break. It reduces the recoil and enables you to shoot all day without a bruised chest. IWI has a rebate program for an optic if you purchased recently.

@@BlackLabelElite Glad to hear it. But seriously buy some torque wrenches. Nothing crazy. Like $80-$100 and you can have a decent set of both inch and foot pound torque wrenches.
Honestly I hang around a local gun shop that has a great gun smyth and the number of people I've seen crush their scope bodies by applying too much force is just sad. I've seen, Vortex razors, Trijicon scopes, two $2,000+ Leupolds, and even a Schmidt & Bender 1-8 that runs $3,500 (that one made my heart sink) all distroyed by easily avoidable stupidity.
He-man strong... gun strong, expensive scope strong, He-man put strong scope on strong gun with strong arms.
      WHY HE-MAN BREAK SCOPE???
      NOOOOOOOOOO!
An that's just the tip of the iceberg. I've seen home built ARs where you can actually unscrew the whole barrel from the upper receiver with the handguard attached BY HAND because the guy broke the barrel timing LUG by not using a jig. I've seen a guy take a castle nut off a gun he just shot with his bare hands. I have seen some dumb shit when it comes to home builders.
Long story short get the right tools for the job. Especially when you're working on a gun.

      @project86xero 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@BlackLabelElite Nice! What model did you end up going with?
One way or another a piece of advice. Once you're done using it take the setting down to 0 for storage. If you leave it set on a high enough weight for long enough you will damage the internal components so the ratings are no longer accurate.
Also the next thing you should look at is it really good set of bits. Brownells has a few different ones to choose from. Either way you really need to get a nice set because most of those drivers don't come with the bits you may need. They're usually close, but close isn't good enough. You really need a precise fit to avoid damaging things. If you're on a budget a set from Lowes or even the Hart stuff at Walmart is better than nothing. But if you really need to apply more than 20 or 25 inch pounds of torque they're really not precise enough or high enough quality to hold up. But if you damage a 50¢ bit and not your $1,000 gun that's a win in my mind. However I rather pay a little more to insure a better fit in finnish to avoid any damage at all.
