Took off the chips from the original cartridges but I got them mixed up I put em on the new cartridges with the dtf ink but the printer keeps givin me maintenance error

The printer fresh out of the box, I removed tape, plugged in power cord & USB, installed the provided ink cartridges (but skipped the steps of initialising + nozzle check & alignment - 2:20 to 2:30 of the video. 0ops). I went through the steps installing the Epson printer driver & the chipless firmware successful up to 11:50 time in this video. I stopped there and did not proceed to the activation download file so it is not yet extracted/paid/activated. Can I still use the ink cartridges that came with the printer including the chips attached to them just as they are inside the printer without having to retrace steps back to default firmware settings?

Thank you for creating video! I don't know what you mean by "running chipless firmware" though. Knowing that firmware "updates" are nothing more than the manufacturer snooping to see if one is using third party ink and they remotely "kill" the printer if so, I have "firmware updates" turned off (for obvious reasons... I grew sick of having to buy replacement printers because of snoopy assed manufacturers remotely killing my printers because I don't take out a third mortgage to purchase their ink). Is that what you mean by "chipless firmware"? BTW, my collection box has said that it's full before and I've spent a bunch of money replacing them and when I pull them out they look brand new to me. I've never seen a bunch of ink like I see in your video in the collection boxes. I've never seen any ink at all in them and I've changed them three times in my existing WF-4830 printer. I can't help but wonder if, in many cases, this is the manufacturer generating false information in order to get people to purchase collection boxes as they are quite pricey. Obviously, yours were quite full of gunk and ink but mine always perfectly pristine looking when I have been prompted to change them. Thank you very much for any feedback that you can provide! You should of played with the packaging for 30 minutes first. Instead you just kept delivering gem after gem 💎

I followed each step, but during the activaton part IT is showing updating failure, and unsupported printer model.

Everything is set up by these directions (btw it’s awesome) overever it’s printing blank 😢. Any suggestions?

What size tile do you use and where did you get it

I followed all your directions everything is set up right. My problem is my black ink will not come out and purge sheets and nozzel checks are not working. The other colors are coming out, not fully. They are muted and lines are in it. What do I do? I can not find any videos with issues and resolutions for this printer or one like it.

Activation successfull, all colors show full. I only put the black tank in, the rest are chipped. I cannot get black to print, just slight shadows.

Do you have a video on converting a used xp-15000 printer? I purchased it new but used it for regular printing.. I have only use the required ink.

Hi I wasn’t sure how to contact you but we transfer our Epson XP 15,000 in to dtf but when heating on the shirt, it is very dark. The colors are not coming out. Do you have any suggestions?

did you have to buy your activation key? I dont recall my printer coming with one new from amazon. If it did I no longer have it.

I converted my Epson 1500 but i can't get good quality on my prints it all pixels no solid colors can you help pls

Went ahead and waterproofed the printhead and put it all back together to align the printhead and when I turned the printer on I get error 033007. Anyone else get that?

question. when the maintenance box is reset does it also reset the ink levels on the screen? currently i cannot print no more because its asking me to replace the ink cartridge but i just refilled the oem cartridge with DTF ink.
