I just bought a sublimation package from Amazon with the WF-3733 with the ink tank and it keeps telling me that my cartridge is not installed correctly it keeps telling me to push ink cartridge down firmly help please

It's possible that the firmware was updated. The 3733 can only be used with chipless Firmware to my knowledge. If the chipless has been installed correctly it would not know if the cartridges were in them or not. I would contact the seller.

So how do you know if you need a ciss installation vs just a regular set up ?

Ciss just holds more ink. It's not necessary to have one.

I use Dynamite Gorilla Ink (link in description) exclusively for obvious reasons :)
But any high quality sublimation ink, pigment, or dye will work in this CISS.

Not that I know of. There isn't any chipless support for that model I don't think

make sure that the vents are open at the tank, and that the tank is level with the printer

With the CISS installed can you close the lid of the printer?

Not with this configuration. However, if you route the tubes through the printer, you can close the as scanner unit.

They are on a few places, but they are crazy expensive. Like double the price of you buying and doing yourself.
