ET-2720 Sublimation Printing. Custom 3D phone case for iPhone 11 Pro Max

A quick Setup of a ET2720 with Dynamite Gorilla Sublimation ink. We then used shrink wrap to make 3D phone cases in a convection oven.

I just ordered this printer from Epson refurbished. I had no idea they sold refurbished printers until I was watching you on WF2850. I'm going to like the set up much better with this printer. Hi, this is a very interesting video I’ve used a couple phone case sublimation machines and they’ve been okay but not great. Have you continued using alternative methods as shown with the heat shrink this is genius to be honest regardless of how successful or tedious it probably was to use.

So would this be better to by these ecotanks rather that buying a printer that needs chipless firmware? It looks like these ecotanks can use generic ink refills or am I wrong about this?

The EcoTanks can use generic ink refills yes. EcoTank printers are the easiest to set up for 3rd party ink use, because there is none. just add the ink you wish to use and go.
WF series printers (the ones that need chipless firmware) are usually easier to come by, and cheaper, and usually faster. They also have a changeable maintenance box where as some ET printers only have an ink pad that would need to be reset, and the tubes rerouted before you are able to print again.
Both are great options.
