follow all the steps from the first video got the firmware installed and go to activate but when i click activate online the app stops responding. any ideas?

Hi how fix when saying that out ink but there income
I’m having a hard time getting my printer to recognize my refill cartridges. Does anyone have any solutions to fix this? I haven’t found anything that has actually helped
Install chipless Firmware. That is the only way to get the 2850 to work with refill cartridges.
I've watched the videos a dozen times. I'm having a hard time with the firmware. Everytime I check it it says "new version" and I can't get any further. I've tried to just move forward. I bought the activation code and it's not activating. HELP!
My ink isn’t flowing through the printer
When I download the firmware it is not a zipped file

Please i am in Ghana so forgive me for my ignorace. Can i use the ink the printer comes with it for sublimation after refillable cart or do i need a sublimation ink
You need sublimation ink.
When I pull up activation, whenever i click "activate online" it does nothing and shows not responding
I would contact ink chip.net. I put the email link in the description. And there is also a forum you can check and see if your particular issue has been discussed and sorted out. I go over those steps in the video.

I followed the steps after the update. I ran it again but mines is popping up the BL99z9 version. My printer is updated to the BLOK53. This the same version under maintenance on my printer. My activation code is unsuccessful as well.
For my 2850 plugging the fill hole and unplugging the vent hole made only magenta print consistently. For some reason only leaving the fill hole unplugged and the vent hole plugged made the prints consistent and I used your kit.
Excuse me, I have the same printer and I followed the configurations of the videos, but I have a problem when I send a print from the computer, it does not print black, but if I send it from my cell phone, the black color does print, has anyone had this problem?
I have completed installation, but I keep receiving an error message Ink cartridge not install correctly push down firmly.
Since going to chipless firmware, my WF2850 has been periodically spitting this out:
"GET / eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1
Host: localhost"
Has anyone else had this or have a solution?
Do you have to use a specific sublimation ink? I have an epson ET and I use hipoo ink can we use that one for the workforce 2850?
When I go to put my code in the error message saying activation failed comes on. HELP

@@McZell thanks for your videos after a bit i figured it out. I had to install the ink cartridges before the code and it worked which was odd.

I bought a new Epson WF 2850 to convert to sublimation. In following your video I got to the firmware part. Unfortunately, I had to leave to go out. When I came back my daughter had printed something on printer. Do I need to do anything to get regular ink out. She printed one page letter with black only.

I keep getting this error message when at the activation download “unsupported printer model” please Help!!!!
I've never gotten that error message. Contact ink chip and open a ticket or search the forums there for support.
I am trying to install the firmware from inkchip. It is the one with 99 in it. But it will not even open once i unzip it. it tells me there is an incorrect conguration file. Do you have any tips on how to go about this?
Unfortunately no. I've never run into that. I would hit up ink chips support email.
Can you just buy chipless cartridges and not install the firmware for it to be converted?
Chipless firmware is required to run chipless cartridges.

I think they have updated the activation program since this video was made..I would try the forums on ink chip . Net or shoot them an email.

Make sure that the printer is connected with a USB cable to your windows PC.
Do all refill cartridges have chip holders
For the 2850 they do. But they are not needed.
I can't download the activation software. My computer is giving me a blocked symbol as if it's not a legit software. Do you have any suggestions to help me move past this? Saying most ppl don't download this.
Disable your antivirus software or allow an exception.

I have installed everything and it will print a nozzle check but throws a paper jam error when I try to print anything off. Any ideas?

If you can help me that be great. I bought one of these converted and the display screen on printer keeps saying something about cartridge error codes. The ink system has no chips so would this firmware be the reason the printer will not work? I have tried every which way possible to get it off that screen. Even if I manage to get the main menu screen and no cartridges it lasts for a few seconds and still returns to ink screen
You will need to re install your chipless firmware. The printers firmware must have been updated accidentally.
@@McZell I bought the ink chip code, downloaded the firmware and still cant get anything t9 work. Does this have to go with a specific chipless cartridge?
Hi I'm getting an error "cannot recognize ink cartridge."
Make sure you correctly installed the chipless Firmware. Correctly installed firmware will bypass any cartridge errors.
@@McZell I can't even get to the firmware part because during the initial setup the Epson cartridges aren't reading.
