Thank you. Was getting so frustrated with my ET 8550 as my pinks we printing red/orange. Was advised to download ICC profiles, did this but then pinks were printing purple. I'm using Izumi inks and paper. Changed to your settings and my colours are much better.
Thanks - your video was really helpful. I'm a Mac user -- my RED prints/presses way too dark purple-ish/maroon (compared to the same image from my 2720) - have you had to make any additional tweaks to your colors? TIA.
I know this might sound dumb but Ive not seen how to insert the sub.paper never used sub paper before I dont mean where it goes but how it goes ....printed side up or down?
I’m not sure what I am doing wrong… I set up the color profile like yours… but when I go to do the B/W profile… when I click the drop down to change to B/W Photo.. mine is grayed out and won’t let me choose. When I hover over it; it says “The current paper type is not supported by this feature.” The only other option to choose is the Black/Grayscale. I set my profile name the same ASub 120 also since I use that as well. Help!
I originally was going to get an ET-15000 and had a set of ink coming for it, but I switched to this printer and have it coming in next week and where I ordered ink from doesn't have an option for the 6 colors yet. DO you believe it is it safe to mix inks?

I have also tried almost every combination under the sun & can't seem to find the sweet spot. Did you adjust any other setting under color correct more after you filmed this? Would appreciate any help you can give.
I bought your ink and LOVE it, I have this printer as well. There is one certain green design I have tried printing and Changing the settings numerous times and it continues to print off blue. Any suggestions?

Hey, I purchased this printer two weeks ago. I printed my first image and it came out perfect. Now I'm getting a red shadow only on one side of my image. Do you have any input on what has happened and how do I go by correcting this issue?

Hey mate - your videos are awesome. just starting up sublimation printing and got a new 8550. I live in NZ and its very difficult to find sublimation ink here specially Gray and Photo black. can i use regular black sub ink instead of Photo Black? does it make a difference in the print quality? thanks again.
@@ocbsquared black and photo black no difference in sublimation. But you do have to use gray. Otherwise the money you've spent on a photo printer for better quality is a waste. You can buy grey over there - lot of suppliers. I had to import. Hoe this helps. By the way printer is awesome - prefer for sublimation prints
Is this printer meant to make loud clunking sound everytime the print head runs across to print its on quiet and im hearing a loud ke-clunk every pass. Nothing jammed all i did was uncheck reduce print data size nothing else

Do you have to use the PK and gray sub ink? or can you use Sub black ink in those tanks?

The factory Epson 552 ink work in ceramic mugor or need special sublimation ink?

No I still have the same settings. But you can adjust to the saturation if you don't feel like the color is popping enough. I
I would like to convert this one into eco solvent any issues so far with your conversion to sublimation?

Try using adobe rgb profile for that particular image.

Either will go 13 wide. They are both good printers for sublimation. This one is geared more towards photo printing.

I haven't heard anything like that when I print.
