I just finished watching this series! God bless you Jesse for enduring through the modern-day Pharisee Isaiah’s satanic message. His voice is so irritating and annoying to me haha. He’s such a self-righteous, double-minded, forked tongue man and is so arrogant, prideful, and blind to the fact that the same verses that he quotes actually condemn him. He doesn’t realize that Satan is using him like a satanic puppet to spew out Satan’s demonic lies to lead more and more people astray and, eventually, into Hell (if they’ve never been saved to begin with). I hope and pray that Isaiah, his followers, and others who may watch any of his demonic videos get saved! I used to be very deceived by a deliverance ministry (called Revelations of Jesus Christ ministries) that tells the similar demonic filth as Isaiah does, including that “Christians can have demons” and that people can “lose their salvation”. I thank God that He opened my eyes and ears, softened my heart to the ONLY True Gospel, I believed on Jesus Christ as my Savior and got saved and born-again! I believe that God has been using my past experiences of heavy deception to give me a lot of discernment, understanding, love, and empathy for others who are lost or saved people who are deceived by any type of false doctrine and gospels. God bless you Jesse and keep being encouraged to spread the Truth in love!

Also, the word "among you" "among" indicates a separate group. Its the same as attending a church....there are usually, at least, two distinct yet separate groups...there are the members of the church and there are visitors of the church. The visitors are AMONG the members who have not yet become members....who may be visiting because they like to be associated with believers....but they themselves may either be actual believers or sinners who have not come to faith in Christ. So when we read the entire chapter of James 6...it is referring to those "AMONG" believers....even in verse 20. I believe the same applies to 2 Peter 2:20.

How would you explain Ephesians 2:1? Being dead in trespasses and sins....you are dead...separated from God. Dead people cannot do anything; it takes the move of God to draw them to repentance (Romans 2:4) through the preaching of the gospel. Ezekiel 37"1-13 God gives Ezekiel a vision, and Ezekiel is practically standing in a graveyard full of dry bones...the dead or "Valley of the dry bones" God asks the question, "Can these bones live?" Ezekiel responds "Lord, you know it". He tells Ezekiel to prophecy to these dry bones....and God says that he will cause breath....in other words give them life....and we see regeneration taking place. God then says "You shall live and you shall know that I am the Lord". God causes repentance. It parallels Ephesians 2:1, especially with the statement in verse 13. God causes regeneration...which is His goodness that leads to repentance. The same concept is show in Ezekiel 36. No man can come to Christ unless God the Father draws him (John 6:44). So I do believe that regeneration precedes faith....regeneration is caused by the Holy Spirit....just as Jesus compared to those born of the Spirit to be like wind....Ezekiel was told to prophesy to the wind which gave life to those dry bones. Sir, I am not a Calvinist.....I do not understand how they worship a man....but I do believe that God causes a regeneration first. Secondly, if we can lose our salvation, how do you explain John 10:27-28 and Psalm 97:10?

Nicely done. While loss of reward is certainly a by product of not being profitable in your walk I also believe the question about can that faith save your soul is also referring back to James 1:21 which states that receiving the word in humility and having it implanted can save your soul- which really means fulfilling the very purpose of your salvation which is to walk in good works (saved for good works) and being a doer of the word is the context. When you are a doer of the word, you are a profitable, and your life will find meaning and purpose. It has nothing to do with loss of salvation or proving your saved.

If one could jump out of God's hand that's like saying you can be unborn out of God's family. No one born had anything to do with being born in a family, your parents did you cannot undo being born to them. A child of God is born into his family you cannot change being his child, it cannot be undone and one lost again, you're no longer a child of God. Being born into God's family happened the moment you trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour, his Spirit now indwells us, he seals each believer unto the day of redemption, he baptized us into the body of Christ. Another thing the gift of salvation, God promised eternal life which is given us when you trust Jesus Christ and will never end. God promised and he will do what he promised, it's not up to us but God himself.

When we limit the work of Jesus to a one time physical event 2000 years ago, we miss the spiritual essence of it. We don’t travel to Jerusalem and climb the hill Golgotha to receive forgiveness of sins. His death and resurrection signifies a deep spiritual meaning that is present within our own hearts! It’s not about past sins, present sins or future sins it’s much much more personal and powerful than that! By foreknowledge, Jesus knew every sin you would ever commit and could commit and there is a river of grace and forgiveness that flows and has been flowing ever since Calvary. God, in His all knowing and all powerful way is able to present this in human time and in human concepts, which has to do with time and our inability to know the future. But it is present tense, it’s alive, it’s mighty and powerful to save to the uttermost! WE must act in faith to access this, or we die spiritually. Spiritual death is eternal death unless we act! God bless.

Thank you SO much for breaking this down for us! The first video that i saw of Isiah really set me on fire to deepen my walk with Christ, which i will be eternally grateful to him for. It was a video of him preaching in front of a congregation with a really positive, inspiring message delivered in his bombastic, rock n roll style that kept me super engaged, tho a little annoyed, as i kept having to turn down the volume because he was so loud towards the end i was afraid i was going to wake the neighbors.....I'm not saying that he does meth, but dude! Relentless. I did see this video after doing a deep dive into his catalog, and was very disappointed when he started spewing this works-based crap.....I'm certainly no Bible theologian, but i know the difference between works and faith being the entry to the kingdom. I hate prosperity preachers, but their game is super obvious....this however is more insidious because this guy is literally twisting scripture to suit his objective, which is to maintain his base by freaking his base the F out. I feel sorry for new Christians who find his podcast. I'm pretty sure he would never get away with this crap in front of a live audience. God bless you for breaking this down for me!

The pastor who said Jesus didn't die for your future sin, is teaching 'Holiness Christianity,' not "Finished Work Christianity.' Just as there was nothing we could do to earn salvation, there is nothing we can do to maintain it. The word 'once' in Koine Greek in this Hebrew verse carries tense, in this case: Past, present and future tense. Hebrews 7:27 NKJV 'Once for all,' meanings once for all mankind and once for all time. Paul taught us that it is the work of the Holy Spirit to do the work in us. Philippians 1:6 NKJV Peace of Christ to you.

they dont understand the types and shadows God laid out for us in the Old Testament for instance on the day of atonement once a year the high priest went into the Holy of Holies and gave a sin offering for all of Israel once that was done Israel was covered for one year even if they sinned in that year still covered but the book of Hebrews says Jesus's blood is so much better then bulls and goats that just covers sin the blood of Jesus takes sin all the way out of the picture its remarkable when people think the blood of Jesus is not powerful enough to remove sin they actually have to come along and use their efforts and their works to cleanse themself of sin fully because the blood of Jesus not good enough they say

Dear Pastor, Trent & Staff. A Prayer Request. Short version. I moved to different part of the US after serving briefly overseas with missions. The prayer is to combat the extreme loneliness. The church I was a part of, and the few I visited since have not welcomed me. I still sin. We all do.. Instead of building up and compassion, I get yelled at.. No love or warm welcome, no mens groups.. Only the Legalistic Fruit Inspectors as Dr. Arnold calls them. 'if I was saved, I wouldn't need medicine for depression and anxiety'. A simple hug would be much better than lecture. I'm 60 and have a terminal illness. I'm left alone. But I do have a beautiful cat the Lord gave me. I pray for you ministry.

I believe you are not addressing his point. I think he’s saying there isn’t a supernatural property to His Blood. Like if someone accidentally touched an ancient blood cell of Jesus, he wouldn’t be miraculously healed of all his diseases. Also It IS the death that matters. He makes the point, if Jesus had not died, we would have no forgiveness. Otherwise Jesus could have just cut himself and be done with it. The blood is a wonderful picture of the Old Testament sacrifices, but without death, it is meaningless. So you can’t just use “shedding of blood” gotcha. But Again, he could have just cut himself, shedding blood. Death is an integral part of the shedding of blood. Without it, there is no salvation. But I do think John did not explain his words very well.

Well essentially both are required. The separation need not happen at all. It was his sinlessness, through his blood and death (burial and resurrection) that we are able to have eternal life by faith in Him. - Trent

Faith is not a gift of God but it was given to us or delivered to all the saints thus by His grace we are saved through faith in Christ. To God be all the glory! Jude 1:3 Dear friends, I wanted very much to write to you about the salvation we all share together. But I felt the need to write to you about something else: I want to encourage you to fight hard for the faith that God gave (delivered) his holy people. God gave this faith once, and it is good for all time. 2 Peter 1:1 Greetings from Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ. To all of you who share (have obtained) in the same valuable faith that we have. This faith was given to us because our God and Savior Jesus Christ always does what is good and right. Romans 12:3 God has given me a special gift, and that is why I have something to say to each one of you. Don’t think that you are better than you really are. You must see yourself just as you are. Decide what you are by the faith God has given each of us.

I hear nothing but contempt and sarcasm nonstop in this pastor’s voice..which in itself is a red flag for me. And I think he’s over analyzing the point MacArthur was making to her. His book on this subject is outstanding ..and goes over the exact things mentioned here…and more. All people who are not saved are spiritually “dead”. Dead people don’t believe anything. It is impossible for her to even desire to know God..unless God planted that desire in her in the first place. This is the point I think that is being missed here..and it’s the route John took in his approach with this girl. He could have taken many approaches ..and he knows them all. I think this criticism is far off base..and just a misreading of his intent…with some disdain and sarcasm to boot which is very unappealing.
