This verse comes to mind when listening to pastor Jesse because of how clearly and efficiently he speaks on the topic at hand, Colossians 4:6 “Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” May God bless you always pastor Jesse, and everyone involved at Bibleline. 🙏🏼
God's Grace is sooooo Amazing and unmerited, some people have a big problem with it. They think they have it but it's not for the people that they think don't deserve it because they aren't doing life like them.
The Sacrifice that was done on the cross by our savior Jesus Christ, was so that we could get a chance of Eternal life by accepting him (believing on him) which would requires us to be a new person. Turning away from our sinful ways and with aid of th he Holy Spirit, helps to maintain a lifestyle acceptable to God and hopefully will be awarded the Promise of Eternal life
The pride of man is a powerful force and many can't help but to place themselves at the center of the salvation equation. It's not a coincidence that the first sin was pride.
I love the videos on this channel they are dead on accurate. I got saved when I was 12, I had a literal bona fide undeniable encounter with the Holy Spirit when I believed the Gospel. But I strayed immediately and God chastised the living mess out of me, and for a long time I struggled and i greatly feared that I had lost my salvation. But fortunately for me God himself intervened and proved to me that I had not lost my salvation. I once had another encounter with God where I was arguing back and forth with him. And I wasn't sure if that was him that I was talking to or if it was just self-talk. But... For instance there was this man that I was wanting to kill because this 25 year old multi-millionaire stole my 15 year old girlfriend. And I was arguing back and forth with God and the voice inside of me said. "But you have me, you have eternal life, you are going to live with me forever, but this man won't make it to the age of 50, he will live his life as an alcoholic and he will be dead by the time he's 48." And I snapped back at God and said "yeah right rich people don't die that young he can afford the best doctors if anything I'll probably die young because I'll be too poor to even afford health insurance" And while I was talking to God and not even sure if I was talking to God or if it was just self-talk I said "And I don't even know if this is you that I'm talking to and I don't even think I'm saved anymore." And i said "okay I'll believe it's you when I see it happen." And the voice inside said "you will see I'm not going to tell you how you'll see but you will." This conversation went on for a while and there's MUCH MUCH more to it then I care to explain here. But... About 23 years later the man died from alcoholism at 48 years old. Looking back on the conversation the same voice that told me that the man would live as a life as an alcoholic and be dead by the time he was 48 is the same voice that assured me that I had eternal life. Now looking at scripture scripture says the same thing. If I had not had such a little faith God would not have had to do something extra to prove to me that I was still saved. You can know that you have eternal life just by believing what the scripture says. As John wrote "I write these things that you may KNOW that you have eternal life." P.s. If anyone could lose their salvation through sinning too much it would have been me. During that period of my life I didn't look or act anything like a Christian but I was a born agaim child of God, and had I died at my worst moment I would have died fearing I was going to hell, but I would have woke up in heaven. I was still saved even when I didn't realize it. But like a good Shepherd Jesus said If one sheep goes astray he will leave the 99 in the field and go and bring that one sheep back. You can NOT loose your salvation, end of story.
You made that up. You, without batting an eye probably don't question what "works" actually means ? Faith for and asking for salvation require effort. Is effort the equivalent of biblical "work" ? How do you decide what effort is anti-grace and what effort is pro-grace?
Gds offspring can NOT sin. If a person is sinning then they have resurrected their old man and have become him again. The old carnal man can not be saved but is permanently condemned. Also, forgiveness from Gd intrinsically comes with being one with Js with him as your head. Only Js has a ticket into heaven. If we are supernaturally joined into his body, death, resurection then we no longer sin. So, cessation of sin is intrinsic to the faith we must have to be forgiven. Gds form of "forgiveness" is peculiar because our old man is NEVER forgiven, instead a completely new man is created without any guilt.
@@JeremyBinnings For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Eph 2:8-9 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. The sad part about this is that all of the false teachers presented here are all apparently still not trusting in Jesus alone for salvation. Unfortunately they will be like the ones referred to in Matthew 7:21.
Older gentleman grinning as he says translations are a tricky business. Yeesh I thought when he said that I was hearing the devil say to Eve , did God really say? Vipers , I am sorry and its sad to say but the devil hates grace . Look at all the religions in the world, all trying to be good enough to enter heaven. Nuff said. Love it Jesse.
So sad these men think they meet the requirements of salvation by their faithfulness. The cross plus their law keeping. I hope one day they trust in Christ alone for salvation.
Trusting in Christ alone. Means you trust in EVERYTHING he has said. And if your righteousness does not exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees. You will by no means enter the Kingdom of God
You must have never heard of Jack Smack? 😂😂😂 He is one of the few Christians who just doesn't care and has no mercy on Calvinists and is always making videos about the danger of calvinism. It takes awhile to get used to the way he preaches because he is very direct but I love him, his content is fantastic.
There's really no difference between Calvinism and those who believe that they can lose their salvation, because just as Calvinists believe in the "Perseverance of the Saints", those who believe they can lose their salvation believe in the very same thing. It's up to man to endure to the end with their works or else they prove they were never saved. Keyword that is the anthesis to the Gospel: WORKS. Imagine if didn't know the full story of King David from the Bible, only the fact that he committed adultery and murder and that he didn't repent for months, I wonder what those pastors would've thought about David's spiritual state?
It angers me at the stupidity and arrogance when someone says "yeah, it says nothing and nobody can take you from God's hand, but it doesn't say you cant." Jesus quite literally says "my father is more powerful" and "NOTHING"....NOTHING MEANS 0, ZILCH, NADA. Nothing can. You are included in that "nothing". What these men are failing to see is that they are placing a yolk on everyone else, which they themselves cannot even bare. I believe that's the definition of "hypocrisy". These people were all prophesied about in 2 timothy 3:5,7.
For me it brings me back to being a teenager and getting saved but fearfully wondering if these guys are right? And would God ever cut me off for sin. I know im saved and dont worry anymore but if these guys were right then there is no hope for any of us. This is a great video. Love the hard work jesse puts into these videos.
It is because of the influence of Rome and their works-based salvation. This theology of working for salvation is found in over 90 percent of denominations to some degree.
"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." If works salvation was correct, many would have found it, making Jesus a liar.
At the 4:57 minute mark notice the usage of the word earnest in Strongs Concordance. Usage: An earnest, earnest-money, a large part of the payment, given in advance as a SECURITY that the whole WILL be paid afterwards.
Oh dear... ...and such is the problem with reading, studying, and interpreting God's Word through the lense of a denomination and/or belief system. So heartbroken for them and the others that they lead astray.
I am quite confident nearly 100% of ALL Christian's, who have taken the afterlife seriously, have struggled with this exact gospel truth. Eternally secure or not. I have personally gone through patches of both and after many many many hours of study and praying God allowed me to see that salvation truly is eternal and can not be lost. However the enemy wants me to waver from this. Why? Because the power of God is literally the gospel and if I lose faith in Jesus's plan if reconciliation then I lose spiritual power and am less effective for God because I hide from God when I have salvation anxiety.
My questions to all works based salvation teachers; Have you personally done enough to be confident of your salvation? What human being born of the Spirit is now the new standard that we are to be measured by? How can I judge a brother or sister as a false believer if I measure his or her works to mine? I do believe every believer born of the Spirit has the guidance and conviction of the Spirit. I don't personally know any Christian who fits this straw man they speak of? It's ok to encourage good works out of love and devotion to our Lord as long as you don't tie it to necessity for salvation! This is the hole they keep falling into. Trust in Christ alone for salvation and do works out of Love for Him!
You OSAS crowd claim that the believers who consider their repentance to be necessary in order to receive forgiveness are attempting to work for and earn Gd's forgiveness. WHY does your crowd insist this ? Is it because the act of making choices requires effort and "effort" is synonymous with "work" ?
Why don't you also equate all effort with earning salvation ? There are several works your crowd accepts as necessary to receive forgiveness yet you don't take issue with those. How do you choose which works are pro-grace and which works are anti-grace ? Faith itself also requires work, reasoning about what you ought to believe requires work, reading or hearing the bible requires work.
@@PabloMinstri That's a lie. Repenting is not a work. It's a simple change of mind from unbelief to belief regarding how to _RECEIVE_ everlasting life. The book of John has the word "believe" 98 times without the word "repent" being in there once. That's because when one BELIEVES (which is NOT a work), they _HAVE_ repented. Faith/belief is not working, period. His Word clearly makes the distinction between faith and work. If you say that faith is work, you're calling God a liar. Romans 4:5 - 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Great video, I have met so many people who think if you sin after you are saved you can lose your salvation. If you are truly saved and your trust and belief in Jesus Christ is truly genuine coming from the heart, you don't doubt your salvation. you cant mix grace and works, it is one or the other, it is not humanly possible to live a life with zero sin, only Jesus can do that. not us.
The Spirit, as a "deposit" or "earnest" can be revoked. When the seller doesn't meet the terms of the sales agreement, the buyer has the right to receive the earnest back. God is the buyer and we are each sellers.
@bobthrasher8226 But the payment has already been paid in full by Jesus Christ, we owe nothing. God will never go back on his promise, he promised eternal life to all who trust Jesus Christ as their Saviour. He made the agreement to us and all the requirements were paid if full by Jesus Christ. The only condition we that God requires of us is receiving his gift by simply faith in Jesus Christ, then it becomes mine with no conditions attached. God never goes back on his promise if so he would be a liar and could not be trusted on his word. He is faithful that promised even when we are not. The only terms in meeting the agreement was already meet when we trusted Jesus Christ as our Saviour. It's done, finished Jesus has meet all the demands, requirements, conditions and purchased our salvation and it cannot be undone. Salvation is God's gift, it's eternal life and eternal life means forever and is ours the moment we trusted Jesus Christ. He has made us his child, we were born into his family and we cannot be unborn out of his family. So salvation cannot be revoked, its already been paid by Jesus and the guaranteed. We are his purchased possession, he redeemed us, he made the deposit or earnest, the Holy Spirit and God will not revoke it for Jesus meet all the requirements, terms. If your saying our salvation can be revoked then your saying it's based on you keeping it, it's conditional which makes it based on our works not God's grace alone. If this is so what Jesus did to save us isn't sufficient, enough but that is what God required, demanded and Jesus paid it all, it is finished.
You can't stop being a born again child of God anymore than you can change the fact that you were born a human being. You can't become of bird because you wish you hadn't been born a human, anymore than you can quit being a child of God once you've been born again.
As far as I know, there is only one being with the power, and authority to break a seal of God, and that's Jesus Christ as depicted in the book of Revelation. He was VIVIDELY depicted as the only one worthy enough to do so, and he also said he would never cast us out, and Paul said NOTHING can separate us from his love in us. Our sin can't break a seal of God, unless you think sin is more powerful than God.
Finished an argument, where a dude kept telling me that, "If you want to be saved, obey the commandments of God, do the Eucharist and baptism", which is what he was essentially telling me, and telling me that grace through faith salvation is "unbiblical". So, I called him a child of Satan, because he accuses believers like me that we're not Christian, he manipulates Bible verses to forward his agenda, and tempts believers like me with salvation. So, yeah. I need to hear more of your sermons, Pastor Jesse. To remind me again that we are saved by God's unmerited grace, not our works, or the Eucharist, or baptism.
That ESV is so wicked, because, in the ESV, it seems like verse 14 is pointing to "man" and his righteousness of acquiring or receiving the inheritance himself instead of God giving it to us through faith in his Son. We are that purchased possession through his blood; but, no, the ESV says until we (the possession) acquire the possession it. The possession of what!? Eternal life? The possession acquires the possession? These people call God a liar.
As we near the Rapture the ancient heresies of Old are increasing steadily. 1) Judiazers -- law keeping for sanctification, in the form of Calvinism and Hebrew Roots Movement. 2) Gnosticism -- in the form of Calvinism 3) Nicolaitans -- in the form of Roman Catholicism. 4) Arianism -- in the form of Islam and JW.
Proverbs 12:25 NKJV [25] Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad. Those who preach against eternal life, which is what preaching against eternal security really is brings nothing but anxiety.
First video of yours that I have seen, and Matthew 7:21-23 is such a convicting passage. I have been born again since March 2005, and I was a OSAS false conversion from age 12 to 45. That's when I discovered the OSAS (at least among Baptists) IS grace as a license to sin. My OSAS husband was a deacon committing adultery with my best friend at church and four pastors knew about it doing nothing. The church kicked me out when the Holy Spirit told me to get baptized again. My husband who is still OSAS divorced me and remarried in 2012, and he is a OSAS adulterer. As a real born again Christian, I have obeyed the Lord to remain celibate because Romans 7:1-3 says if I get remarried, I will be an adulteress. No practicing adulterer will go to heaven even if they think they are believers. If truly saved always saved, and you will persevere in the faith and stop sinning. I do a lot of evangelism, and many I witness to are OSAS from childhood, though by their fruit, clearly they aren't saved. The rapture is very soon, and probably only 2-3% of those who claim to be Christians will be caught up. Maranatha.
But salvation does not depend on whether you commit certain sins or not. Adultery was paid for at the cross. That is disgusting and wicked that he treated you that way, but if he believed in Christ as his Savior, he is still saved. He is just not a profitable Christian by any means. He should have been a man and left that woman alone. God forbid such wicked behavior, hence the Corinthians. You cannot tell if anyone is saved by the works they do. The "fruit" in Matthew 7 is NOT works. It is their WORDS. You test a false prophet by what they SAY. - Trent
@@BibleLine No sir. Saying you are saved when you continue to commit adultery proves you have a false profession of faith. Mark 10: 10And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same [matter]. 11And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away (630) his wife (1135), and marry another, COMMITTETH ADULTERY (3429) against her. 12And if a woman shall put away (630) her husband (435), and be married to another, she COMMITTETH ADULTERY (3429). Luke 16: 18 Whosoever putteth away (630) his wife (1135), and marrieth another, COMMITTETH ADULTERY (3431): and whosoever marrieth her that is put away (630) from her husband (435) COMMITTETH ADULTERY (3431). 1 Corinthians 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid FORNICATION (4202) let every man have his OWN WIFE (1135), and let every woman have her OWN HUSBAND (435). 10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the LORD, Let not the wife (1135) depart from her husband (435): 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband (435): and LET NOT the husband (435) put away (863) his wife (1135). 39 The wife (1135) IS BOUND BY THE LAW as long as her husband (435) liveth; but if her husband (435) be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord. Mark 7: 20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, ADULTERIES (3430), FORNICATIONS (4202), murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. Matthew 5:27-30 NKJV [27] “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ [28] But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. [29] If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. [30] And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
Technically we do have a license to sin, but God doesn’t want us to see it that, rather he wants us to Jesus as a ticket to heaven, also Ephesians 4:30 is probably the best OSAS verse.
Leanard Ravenhill was that old guy. When I wasn't saved (thought I was) I listened to him a lot and even shared his videos. I regret that. He was all about the changed life, or you're going to hell.
After you believed in the blood atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ as the only and final payment for all your sins.... Meaning you accepted How Christ died for our sins and that he was buried and that he rose again the 3rd day according to the scriptures.... as the payment made in your place Acts 20:28 / Rev 1:5 Scriptures says you are saved and sealed and given eternal life Eph 1:13-14 / 2 Thess 2:13-14 / Rom 4:4-5 / Rom 3:19-26 / 1 Cor 1:17-31... So you are going to heaven on the merits of what Christ Jesus accomplished and by HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS HIS IMPUTED RIGHTEOUSNESS TO THOSE THAT BELIEVED THE GOSPEL So yes if a person so choses to live however they want after they are saved is a possibility.... Galatians 5 says we have freedom in Christ.... But scripture also says that we have a dual nature after we are saved which Galatians 5 says to feed the Spirit and not your evil fleshly nature.... So Just because turning from sin or sinning has nothing to do with how a person is saved, doesn't mean God wants a person to live after his/hers fleshly evil corrupt nature. That's all over Gods words including Rom 12 and so on....
What I hear, when someone says, that they can walk away (pluck themselves out of hiw hand,) or that they can break the seal of the Holy Spirit, is "I AM GREATER THAN GOD." That is what I hear.
Then you and I hear the same thing. It is blasphemous, even satanic at its very core: if you can overpower God, then you are greater than God. It's outright sickening!
@livingforjesus8551 Pluck them out of my hand that is false teachers with a false message. That's what's going on today this once saved always saved free Grace theology is doctrine of demons. If you had eternal security why did Satan get thrown out of heaven? He was the most beautiful , brightest and anointed and he was still thrown out of heaven and you're going to take pride back into heaven living in sin that God condemns really?
When he is talking about being plucked out of his hand that is talking about false teachers leading his sheep astray with a false message and that's once saved always saved the free Grace doctrine of demons Wake up Study to show thyself approved unto God a Workman needing not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of Truth You're twisting that scripture all the way out of context
They are tricky just like the devil . They lack faith and trust in the power and promises of God ,they have more faith and trust in their own Righteousness and Not the power of God , Jesus Christ , and the Holy Spirit 🙏🙏🙏
@1:44 "It's also the same thing in English." I truly laughed out loud so hard at that. 😂 I'm of the same mind that we can still understand the Bible without knowing NT Greek.
People who hide behind the Greek remind me so much of gnostics in the early church day who taught that “the heavenly messenger had trusted his secret knowledge to a particular disciple, who alone was the true interpreter of the message.” “This messenger brings the gnosis, the secret knowledge and inspiration necessary for salvation.” The story of Christianity volume 1 by Justo L. Gonzalez Page 72-75
2 Corinthians 11:13, 15 [13] For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Brown recently posted a video on mocking Eternal Security as "?What's the Big Deal ? " . I always found those 'brethren' who deny or mock eternal security very disturbing, if not offensive. I'm now 65, when I was 18, Billy Graham came to Notre Dame ( South Bend, IN ) near where I lived, and rode a bus with a local AoG church ( my own newly joined church BBC had misgiving on Graham and his association with RC institution) . Friday Youth Night at ACC, with guest performer late Andre Crouch, Notre Dame.. I had more tolerant view of Charismatics back then, though I never was convinced of any supernatural manifestations on their 'tongues' ) After the meeting, on the Bus back to nearby Michigan City IN, I had a discussion with a few students from the AoG college from Springfield MO, who had just come home for summer break, I mentioned that my chuch BBC had a college in same town, and they 'bragged' that they could 'argue out' of their eternal security. This issue of eternal Security was the chief stumbling block to Charismatic . Though in 1970s, Evangelicalism was making positive inroads in people of all denominations, Charismatics seemed to dominate, at least in TV medium. 38 WCFC Chicago and 46 WHME South Bend had mostly Charismatic programming .. PTL, 700 Club.. But also carried more True edifying programming like Jerry Falwell, David Jerimiah, Day of Discovery. which taught Eternal Secuity as foundation of Chrisitan Growth. After my crisis of Assurance in 1982 ( UPCi influence ), just before college graduation, I became more vulnerable to temptations of the flesh. In other words, Fear of Losing salvation, DID NOT make my Daily Walk better, But Worse.
@@longstreet2740I would agree my brother. I was addicted for a long time to a particular sin in my youth, prettysure i got saved while attending AOG but they taught I could lose salvation. Well I had a crisis of faith, falling back into sin again and again thinking how could I be saved sinking deeper and deeper in sin and depression. The only time i had joy was when i thought id repented enough. I ended up leaving that church started listening to Calvary, old time Baptist preaching, learning about fellowship and true salvation in Christ alone by grace alone. And it's like a gust of wind from good doctrine is helping me to practice real self control and confidence in God to live for him. I still struggle with some depression because of finances, also temptation is always there sometimes i fall. But I trust God to hold me through it all, and to restore my joy as i confess my wrongs and he help me through it all. Eternal security advocates are helping me vs destroying my walk like Arminians did.
@@ThemCoversMB I agree that Brown has written excellent apologetics on Messianic topics, just as Calvinist James White once wrote and excellent book on the Trinity. In my discernment I must constantly exercise discernment "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." 1 Thessalonians 5:21
I have heard soooo many times heard people say we can jump out! So sad. How can we be greater than God? Praise God He holds me in His hand! End of Story!
@@bignatendc wrong you do not lose your free will to accept or reject Jesus. If you did your belief and faith would be by another and therefore false faith and false belief. Beginning and end of story.
I told myself a long time ago..do not listen to Good Fight Ministries anymore, because they mock and chastise anyone who believes in a Pre-Trib rapture. If they don’t see and teach the obvious in scripture regarding the rapture, then why should I listen to them on any other biblical doctrine. Now I see they are wrong on a lot more than that issue. Thanks for this response video series.
Been sealed WITH the Holy Spirit of promise, is just confirming what the scripture said before. Acts 1:5 "For John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence"
I have commented on this subject before , but I just can't get over these lose your salvation guys always think that Christians have this mindset that they can just sin and do whatever they want because they are saved by grace. I have NEVER met one Christian EVER that thinks this way. This is as absurd as saying now that I just got married, I can go out and cheat on my spouse anytime I want !!
And you are not saved until you leave this Earth and are in the presence of Christ. That's when you're saved. That's why he said lift your head for your redemption draws near you are going to redeem your ticket to paradise! Spending eternity with Christ.
@ctflooringconceptsllc9157 no sorry! You're saved the very moment you trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour forever and either by death or his appearance we will see salvation's fulfilled that he has already promised to us.
Yeah. Eternal life is not eternal. Once saved, you'll probably go to hell. There are no guarantees. You can walk into salvation and out of salvation . It depends on us to stay saved. We can pluck ourselves out of His hands. Jesus has butter fingers. Yeah.
@ChrisSadowski-pp1np so that means you can be unborn out of God's family. You cannot be unborn, you were born into their family, you became their child, you had nothing to do with it and nothing you do can change it. So it is when you're born again, you're born of the Spirit into the family of God the moment you trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour. You say you can change but he made you his child not you making yourself his child. God will not change this nor can you just walk away for he made you his child by the new birth. You may deny it but it doesn't change it. You can be a child who walks away but God is still your Father. God doesn't change his promise, he keeps it and it is not conditional upon you unless you're never truly trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour. If you have you're saved forever, that's his promise to you and that is not conditional upon you but is based totally, solely, completely on his promise to you. The prodigal son was still his son no matter how far he roamed, how low in sin he may have gone, no matter if he had never come home or died somewhere his father never knew, he was still his son.
@rickdalbey6009 then God lied, he promised eternal life to all who believe, trust Jesus Christ as their Saviour. He promised and he doesn't go back on his word. Eternal life is eternal life not until, but forever. When Jesus saves you it's forever, it's not based, dependent on you but upon Christ his finished work. If it were anything else it would be based, conditional upon us and would not be grace but your works, performance and if so you've earned salvation, eternal life but God is no debtor to no one, you don't earn salvation you are given salvation as God's gift, paid for by the blood of the Lamb and when received by faith this gift becomes yours and it is not conditional that it'll be taken away. God doesn't take returns, it's yours. You cannot become unborn in a family, if you're a parent your child cannot become unborn, it's your child and so it is when one is born into God's family, by trusting Jesus Christ as your Saviour you are born into his family, you're his child and it cannot be undone.
If Adam and Eve had to keep their end of the bargain, why are we not to be expected to do the same. God gave our first parents a gift, everlasting life in paradise , but they had to obey Him in order to benefit from that gift. Same with us.
They died spiritually. They needed to believe in the coming Messiah as alluded to in Genesis 3:15. Jesus died for their sins too, but they needed to believe in Him. Obedience is required for spiritual growth and profitability, but it does not change or add to salvation. - Trent
@ but if they never disobeyed, would humanity still need salvation? If they truly believed, wouldn’t they have obeyed, saving all of us the need to need salvation?
They can believe that, but it doesn’t translate to the actual truth of the matter. The Holy Spirit does teach believers, but deception is powerful. Men sealed with the Spirit can be led away. Still saved nonetheless. - Trent
13:44 I feel like you might be wrong here, from what I’ve heard it says no one can snatch or pluck you from the Father’s hand, but I don’t know if jumping out is the same as being snatched or plucked out.
We intentionally deleted it. It became a lot to keep up with, it also now allows porn, and the people we encountered were very malicious. We decided it isn’t our scene. - Trent
If Jesus can loose His sheep then that would contradict Him being a good shepherd 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ . But what’s funny is those who said you can lose eternal security or salvation are the ones who somehow never lost there’s 🙄 it’s baffling . You can never change the work of GOD.
I have a question: what about the free will? After you have been born again? That is one of the things I struggle with, as with regard of me knowing some things being wrong and still do them, doubting whether I am still sincere with regard to Christ. I also have doubts because of all the translations that are there, kinda doubting whether or not it has been truthfully been translated, because I know of a dutch translation that has some disingenuous parts in it.
I feel like I have a really pretty sand castle and these people want to bring it down. I'd like to ask these men how many sins should I commit to lose my salvation. How many old ladies should I trip?? I believe either they don't know what they're talking about (which I really don't think it's the case)......or they're intentionally evil. Even if I went out right now to murder someone, wouldn't that sin be covered too *by the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ??* If I could "jump out" from God's hand by sinning, that would mean that Jesus has failed somewhere, no? I really don't know what these men believe, but I know they're false teachers.
Exactly. They claim to believe "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures" but then say we'll lose our salvation because of sin. They can't have it both ways.
I've been wondering what it means in Matthew 22:14 when Jesus says many are called, but few are chosen. If anyone can help me with this verse and what Jesus means by it, that would be great.
Dr. Michael Brown is most dangerous. He is well spoken and an expert debater. He has influence in many movements. I wish people would not listen to his twisting of Scripture. Prayers for all those who are trusting in themselves to “make it” to heaven. I want to obey God, not to remain saved, but because I am saved. It’s a done deal, signed, sealed, and delivered. Not our way, whereby we can mess up, but God’s perfect way- all the way. God bless you Pastor Jesse. Thank you for these videos. Listening to these men twist and shout made me especially angry today. 😤
If a person ONLY needs to have faith in JS one single moment to be permanently qualified to enter heaven then that equates to having zero fear of hll. Plus, if you profess that earthly temporary punishment from Gd is real then who honestly has fear of that ?
Can you live however you want after you get saved? Yes but you're going to be beat by God you're going to be punished by God you're going to be chastised by God. Can you live however you want after you saved yes but should you live however you want no
Theologically, there’s really not an argument, so I’m not going to give credence to these fellas, regarding this. A few things are clear: 1) It’s easy to see that most of these guys really enjoy their own voices, in a very vain manner. 2) Their attempt to reference “the Greek” is not necessary most of the time. Its intention, their purpose for “the Greek” is condescension; their use is very uppity. 3) In many cases, it seems that they are uneasy with/don’t believe their own position, or at least, their current argument. Thanks for this, Brother. God Bless You All In Jesus Christ Our Lord.
If one could jump out of God's hand that's like saying you can be unborn out of God's family. No one born had anything to do with being born in a family, your parents did you cannot undo being born to them. A child of God is born into his family you cannot change being his child, it cannot be undone and one lost again, you're no longer a child of God. Being born into God's family happened the moment you trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour, his Spirit now indwells us, he seals each believer unto the day of redemption, he baptized us into the body of Christ. Another thing the gift of salvation, God promised eternal life which is given us when you trust Jesus Christ and will never end. God promised and he will do what he promised, it's not up to us but God himself.
See, if they are going to insert what they think modern day people mean when make a statement, Why wouldnt they do the same for someone who has long been dead? I really need to do some in depth study on these verses. Cause there are a lot of things that seem to contradict God, yet I believe it is our misunderstanding of the original meaning
So Jesse these False Teachers are preaching another gospel and Paul would call them accursed. Will these guys even make it to Heaven? What yokes they put on believers.
If they believe in Christ alone, they will make it to Heaven. Some may have believed in Christ alone and are saved, but got confused by conditional security. Most denominations are adding to grace by teaching a false gospel of works. You have the front-load workers: Lordship Salvationists (Calvinist or non-Calvinists) Roman Catholicism Eastern Orthodox Greek Orthodox Lutheran Episcopal/Anglican "Church of Christ" Then you have conditional securityists. They may not believe in front loading the gospel with works but they believe that sin can make you become unsaved: Methodism (not all but a majority) All Pentecostal/ charismatic denominations (Assemblies of God, "Church of God", etc. And of course most front loaders, aside from Lordship Salvationists and the "Church of Christ", are also conditional securityists. This includes Roman Catholicism, Lutheranism, Episcopalalian/Anglican, Eastern Orthodox, Greek Orthodox. Then you have the back loaders which encompasses: Calvinists (including Calvinist Baptists and Prebyterians). Who does that leave who don't trust in some degree of works? I'd say a majority of Baptists, some non denominational churches, a minority of Methodists, and a few others. Over 90 percent of so called Christians are following works, which if indeed is works is trusting in themselves and not only on Christ.
I guess this is what happens when man thinks God's ways are the same as theirs. Salvation is indeed foolishness to those who are depending on their works to save them or keep them saved.
The D V L literally told Eve she would not die if she disobeyed. OSAS literally says you will not die if you disobey AS LONG as you have faith for salvation one single moment in your entire life. The WORLD literally says there's no eternal consequences for sin. Multitudes upon multitudes of Christians currently believe they can live however they want with no eternal consequences from Gd. And they do all the same bad stuff the world does.
@@HowAboutThat224 Ok. But I am aware that there are a VAST number of professing "Christians" who live exactly like the world but believe that they are 👍👍 with Gd. Talk to the unbelievers and they typically really do also believe that IF there is actually a Gd he will accept them just as they are. The D V L honestly did tell Eve that she will not die if she disobeys Gd. Argue or don't argue, either way, these things are true. I personally would very much not take much confidence in OSAS after considering these things
Imagine living in a constant state of uncertainty, as if we have anything to contribute to our own salvation, and if we're not good enough, God would not honor our belief in Him as Lord and Savior. It's just a works-based "look at me" effort-like the Pharisees. All of these men Jesse is pointing out seem like they just want to be heard and followed.
Yep, when they bring up do we have the license to sin to Paul (sorry paraphasing), he says No, because that's not the nature of a Christian. He doesn't say No, you'll lose your Salvation.
You can stop believing it's not force as many former believers have done. It's not God's responsibility to force you to believe, it's yours, when you do you are saved when you don't you are an unbeliever and not saved. You yourself were saved when you believed, if you become an atheist and stop believing, you will not be saved anymore until you repent and become restored. Otay for those in that situation instead of claiming they were never saved because of this very recent osas doctrine.
@@Tigerex966 Impossible to stop believing for those who have been genuinely saved. Utterly impossible. You are permanently sealed. It cannot be undone.
@@Scott767300 That's a lie. Stop trying to twist the scripture to fit a doctrine Continue to the end to be saved There is no once saved always saved or once damned always damned. That's Calvinism. These are recent doctrines and unbiblical. God does not force you to believe or to keep believing, and only believers are saved. You do not lose your free will ability we all have, to accept Jesus or reject Jesus. Neither do you lose your ability to reject Jesus even after accepting him and vice versa. Believing is man's responsibility not God's.
@@Scott767300 it does not, that's what your Calvinism light OSAS doctrine says. The Bible does not say you are saved based on past belief at all, it says you are based on current belief.
I haven’t met a Christian who struggle with sin enjoy it and want to be in that situation ? The documentary should be called the false teachings to avoid
But for me the question still is: what if a person stops believing and starts to deny everything the Bible says. (I know some brothers and sisters who did; they became gnostics, atheïst, ...)
I think you have a few options 1) they never were saved (in dwelt with the Holy Spirit) in the first place….2) they got deceived and carried away with false doctrine- still saved, but unfruitful….
@@theouterplanet sometimes I imagen them in front of the judgement seat of Christ and say: "What! You are real?!?!?! I was sure about my opinion after I started reading other books..."
Pastor, could you please do a video on the Parable of the Talents? This seems to be to say that if we are truly saved we will be fruitful (have works). In other words, you are not saved by just believing and doing nothing with your salvation.

Understanding the finished work at the Cross solves the security issue, hands down. 'It is finished'. Great video!
He finished what HE was supposed to. not what YOU are supposed to
The Sacrifice that was done on the cross by our savior Jesus Christ, was so that we could get a chance of Eternal life by accepting him (believing on him) which would requires us to be a new person.
Good point
"But you have me, you have eternal life, you are going to live with me forever, but this man won't make it to the age of 50, he will live his life as an alcoholic and he will be dead by the time he's 48."
And I snapped back at God and said "yeah right rich people don't die that young he can afford the best doctors if anything I'll probably die young because I'll be too poor to even afford health insurance"
And while I was talking to God and not even sure if I was talking to God or if it was just self-talk I said
"And I don't even know if this is you that I'm talking to and I don't even think I'm saved anymore."
And i said "okay I'll believe it's you when I see it happen."
And the voice inside said "you will see I'm not going to tell you how you'll see but you will."
This conversation went on for a while and there's MUCH MUCH more to it then I care to explain here.
As John wrote
"I write these things that you may KNOW that you have eternal life."
P.s.
But like a good Shepherd Jesus said
If one sheep goes astray he will leave the 99 in the field and go and bring that one sheep back.
You can NOT loose your salvation, end of story.
This was such an incredible read, thank you and praise God!
That's great! Praise the Lord
What a testimony! Our God is so good!
Bottom line if you preach a salvation that can be lost, then you preach a salvation by works and not grace through faith in Jesus
💯

For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. Rom 4:2-4
For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good.
Hi, I hope you're doing well.
No sir, I agree with those whom most closely agree with my understanding of God's word.
Take care.
This debate is exactly what I’ve been going through… how sad it is it’s devastating
My questions to all works based salvation teachers;
Have you personally done enough to be confident of your salvation?
Thank you so much for these videos they are heart and mind openers in GOD's truth !
Great video, I have met so many people who think if you sin after you are saved you can lose your salvation. If you are truly saved and your trust and belief in Jesus Christ is truly genuine coming from the heart, you don't doubt your salvation. you cant mix grace and works, it is one or the other, it is not humanly possible to live a life with zero sin, only Jesus can do that. not us.
The seal argument is silly. A seal is designed to seal.
Preserved in Christ! Amen!
If you can lose salvation everyone is going to hell
Thank God we are secure in Christ to those who believe
As far as I know, there is only one being with the power, and authority to break a seal of God, and that's Jesus Christ as depicted in the book of Revelation. He was VIVIDELY depicted as the only one worthy enough to do so, and he also said he would never cast us out, and Paul said NOTHING can separate us from his love in us. Our sin can't break a seal of God, unless you think sin is more powerful than God.
Same exact thought came to my mind. These men think they can break God’s seal. That’s blasphemy.
Excellent!! Pastor Jesse provides a sound Biblical critique of the false gospel teachings of this Documentary Film.

Those who preach against eternal life, which is what preaching against eternal security really is brings nothing but anxiety.
It is heartbreaking to hear these men working so hard to rip assurance away from Believers.
I looked up Epesians 1:13-14 and found this commentary..i really like the last part

@@BibleLine No sir. Saying you are saved when you continue to commit adultery proves you have a false profession of faith.

Matthew 5:27-30 NKJV
[27] “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ [28] But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

So you are going to heaven on the merits of what Christ Jesus accomplished and by HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS HIS IMPUTED RIGHTEOUSNESS TO THOSE THAT BELIEVED THE GOSPEL
So yes if a person so choses to live however they want after they are saved is a possibility....

Eternal security is the gospel
Micheal Brown is a Real Discourager to my Faith in Christ
Brown recently posted a video on mocking Eternal Security as "?What's the Big Deal ? " . I always found those 'brethren' who deny or mock eternal security very disturbing, if not offensive. I'm now 65, when I was 18, Billy Graham came to Notre Dame ( South Bend, IN ) near where I lived, and rode a bus with a local AoG church ( my own newly joined church BBC had misgiving on Graham and his association with RC institution) . Friday Youth Night at ACC, with guest performer late Andre Crouch, Notre Dame.. I had more tolerant view of Charismatics back then, though I never was convinced of any supernatural manifestations on their 'tongues' )
After the meeting, on the Bus back to nearby Michigan City IN, I had a discussion with a few students from the AoG college from Springfield MO, who had just come home for summer break, I mentioned that my chuch BBC had a college in same town, and they 'bragged' that they could 'argue out' of their eternal security.
I love him otherwise. Just not on this topic.

@ctflooringconceptsllc9157 no sorry! You're saved the very moment you trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour forever and either by death or his appearance we will see salvation's fulfilled that he has already promised to us.
You can't lose your salvation, but you can walk away from it at any time, Hebrews 6:4-6
Yeah. Eternal life is not eternal. Once saved, you'll probably go to hell. There are no guarantees. You can walk into salvation and out of salvation . It depends on us to stay saved. We can pluck ourselves out of His hands. Jesus has butter fingers. Yeah.
@@rickdalbey6009 set your minds on things above not here on earth Colossians 3:2.
@@stanleywest2619 You can turn away from God and lose your salvation. God gives us free will.

@ but if they never disobeyed, would humanity still need salvation? If they truly believed, wouldn’t they have obeyed, saving all of us the need to need salvation?
I have a question..
Can men who are sealed by the Holy Spirit actually believe that you can lose salvation and teach it too?
They can believe that, but it doesn’t translate to the actual truth of the matter. The Holy Spirit does teach believers, but deception is powerful. Men sealed with the Spirit can be led away. Still saved nonetheless.

Theologically, there’s really not an argument, so I’m not going to give credence to these fellas, regarding this.
You have the front-load workers:
Lordship Salvationists (Calvinist or non-Calvinists)
Roman Catholicism
Eastern Orthodox
Greek Orthodox
Lutheran
Episcopal/Anglican
"Church of Christ"
Then you have conditional securityists. They may not believe in front loading the gospel with works but they believe that sin can make you become unsaved:
Methodism (not all but a majority)
All Pentecostal/ charismatic denominations (Assemblies of God, "Church of God", etc.
And of course most front loaders, aside from Lordship Salvationists and the "Church of Christ", are also conditional securityists. This includes Roman Catholicism, Lutheranism, Episcopalalian/Anglican, Eastern Orthodox, Greek Orthodox.
Then you have the back loaders which encompasses:
Calvinists (including Calvinist Baptists and Prebyterians).
Who does that leave who don't trust in some degree of works?
I'd say a majority of Baptists, some non denominational churches, a minority of Methodists, and a few others.
Over 90 percent of so called Christians are following works, which if indeed is works is trusting in themselves and not only on Christ.
@@willp.8120 indeed the way is narrow. Christ alone.
